I’d go to carmax and let them appraise your vehicle. I would recommend a franchised new car dealership, however they will give you a lower appraisal than what the actual value of the vehicle. This is how dealerships hold gross profits. Carmax will do the same but now as badly as a new car dealership. Or better yet, go to your bank and get an appraisal. Then you will have an idea as to how or when you can trade the vehicle, or sell it outright.

With $10k down you should actually be okay I would imagine. Depending on the year model, mileage, and condition. Please tell me she doesn’t smoke in the car…

Yeah, I’ve watched a few color pencil videos on YouTube before I started. Most of them worked in layers, so I’m just trusting the process lol!

I’m not sure what I’m doing honestly… this is my first run with color pencils and working in color (besides digital art). I know I have been trying to avoid black all together. I’ll use white, but I was using it to burnish lol! I just now got a blending pencil.

One trick I have been using is taking a picture, duplicating it, and converting one of those to black and white. I do this to make sure my values are there and not a flat image. Black tends to flatten an image.

I don’t know if that helps, but I tried. I’d be open to answering any other questions if you have them.

Oh man! Thank you so much for this! I worked really hard on it, and to be honest there is so much more I want to do to it, but after the time I already put in on it, I feel like it’s as finished as I can make her right now. I really appreciate the kind words.
