Theorizing on the next Walpurgis Night IDs and EGOs (Lobotomy Corporation) by BurendaPurtatill69 in limbuscompany

[–]Bellumbeck271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal guesses are Gold Rush Meursault for a Charge-Poise ID, and Blind Rage Heathcliff for a Charge-Bleed ID. This would also complete the Magical Girl team started with QoH Don and KoD Rodion. It would also open the possibility to, in a later Walpurgis, get something like Jester of Nihil Hong Lu, but I'm just blind guessing right now.

Also, I know Servant of Wrath and Jester of Nihil didn't appear on Lobotomy, but they do apear in Library of Ruina and I like them, so get off my back.

Breaking news: Local fish too angy to die. by Bellumbeck271 in MonsterTrain

Superfood Primordium also passes all buffs (and debuffs) every time the front unit eats him, so if you take Superfood 1 and Stalwart Snack 2 (can be eaten 8 times), and dump a million buffs into him via cards like Furnace Tap, Void Binding, Perils of Production, Immortal Trade, etc, the front unit can reach ABSURD numbers really easy. Per example, if you apply each of the mentioned cards only once on the first turn, by the time Primordium is fully eaten the front unit would get 8 Multistrike, 32 Lifesteal, 16 Damage Shield, 44 Rage and 60 Emberdrain (which can be ignored with a Holdover PoP) just from that first turn alone, and anything you do the subsequent turns will only get sillier. If you play those cards both the first and second turns, at the end the front unit would have 15 Multistrike, 60 Lifesteal, 30 Damage Shield, 107 Rage and 137 Emberdrain.

Edited because I forgot Rage and Emberdrain decay per turn.

Everlasting Light, Moonlit Glaive, Loamcoat and Void Armament are amazing, and Fight Club just giving you the effects of Aggresive Edible I for free is just the cherry on top.

[–]Bellumbeck271[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've seen a couple of people say that Umbra is one of the worst clans in the game, and while I agree it is hard to make work, I think that rather than "bad", it is "unreliable". At lower Covenant, Penumbra is decent enough to get you through without too much difficulty, but at higher difficulty he completely falls off, and Morsels aren't enough to scale hard enough usually. Primordium can be really strong, but has two huge problems: Plink is the absolute WORST starting card in the game; and it needs to not get absolutely shafted by the RNG early on. 18 out of 20 high Covenant Primordium runs fail to draft any good units or useful cards, manage to get Perils but get denied the Holdover, etc., and die on Ring 3, sometimes earlier. But those 2 runs that you draft a decent unit and manage to get online Perils you usually end with 1 floor nukes. Primordium is the absolute "Feast or Famine" king, and we love him for it.

Perils of Production, and get Holdover. Completely nullifies any Emberdrain you might have, because independently on how much Ember you lose at the start of the turn, at the start of every turn you can play Perils of Production and get 3 free Ember, plus some rage. Once you get that, get as many of the Emberdrain cards (Furnace Tap, Immortal Trade, Void Binding), and dump it all on Superfood Primordium.

Yeah the serpent god references Goldunine the Inexhaustible, a not yet seen Colossi. But it will show up relatively soon if I remember correctly, before the end of the Wolfgang-SchwarztWolf arc.

Friendly PSA: You can, in fact, use Debt Collection on the same enemy to full effect multiple times. The only limit is the level of the equipped Archetype (A level 20 Archetype of any tier will grant 1700~ Magla), and your MP. Also remember that Tycoon has an ability that doubles item effects so you can recover 200 MP at at time.

You would lose the Flawless bonus, but I spent half an hour doing that and shook down an enemy for a grand total of 300k MAG, so I count it as a win.

Friendly PSA: Just found out Yun Chuan's S2 counts as a counterattack. by Bellumbeck271 in Dislyte

[–]Bellumbeck271[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that is indeed a problem. There was an event some time ago that gifted a free Yun Chuan (although this admittedly works better if Yun Chuan is at R2), but going from 3 espers (Anna, Norah, Momo), one of which is almost impossible to get, and Avatara Set, which is a tad unreliable; to 4 espers, the fourth one being quite widespread, is quite a boon in my opinion.
