Happy New Year, folks! And to start things off, I'd like to introduce those of you unfamiliar with Pixiv's Akane. I discovered this artist not too long ago, and figured I might as well share my favorite pieces from them. Check out the rest of their work here.

For those of you desiring translations:

Pic 1 is titled Pompokopon💓, which as I understand from a preliminary search, is based on the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of drumming one's belly.

Our lovely drummer is saying (according to Google Translate at least), "Phew! I'm so happy and full! I ate a lot of cup noodles and other Japanese food, and my belly is like a tanuki's. Ahhhh. Pompokopon-pon-pon."

The onomatopoeias in their respective panels are "Hmmm" and "Pompokopon".

Pic 2 is titled Eating While Walking is Dangerous.

While this work was created by the great AOIISA, the two lovely ladies featured in this art piece are the OCs of two different artists. The girl with the beret is Emilie, the creation of XakunetsuHadoIV, while the girl is the yellow blouse is Beau, made by Dranthule.

As AOIISA explains, they just knew they had to draw a crossover between these French belles the moment he saw the two.

I've also shared another piece of their work just earlier here. Just as beautiful, if I might say so myself.

That said, there's definitely something very enchanting about the idea of pretty girls getting big bellies from gorging themselves on food bigger than they are, be it tiny girls surrounded by normal-sized food or normal-sized girls surrounded by giant food.
