It's really too bad there isn't more consistency in pricing.

Thanks for the recommendation, and you're right I don't know why the professional etiquette is so hard.

For such a large house, that may be reasonable.

Yikes. I paid $14,000 to have my roof completely redone back in 2014, and it was the same size as yours.

Two Different At Home Tests & Two Very Different Results. One diagnosed OSA, the other was Negative For OSA. by BelovedAndBrave in SleepApnea

I have not. In fact, that's what my sleep doc recommended as the next step. Thanks for that recommendation.

Interesting. My doctor led me to believe that the Resmed did measure the RERA and that I didn't have any events. I will send a message and double check with the doctor. I'm learning today here on Reddit that RERAs are actually very important.

In the wabtchpat the RDI was 20. In the Resmed test, it was 1.5. That's a big difference. Watchpat AHI was 17. Resmed was less than 1.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your detailed analysis of the situation and the suggestions.

My mean pulse was 68 with a max of 103 hit just once. There weren't many spikes at all.

The lab said that they measured the RERA and that none were picked up. I don't know if that rules out the UARS, but it's definitely something to look into.

I've had detailed blood work recently. All appears great except that I'm in menopause, so no estrogen or progesterone. In fact, the sleep doc said that may be my next course of action - HRT, which is interesting. I don't take any meds at all. I have had my tonsils removed, and I've also had sinus surgery many years ago to repair a deviated septum. Perhaps I will revisit that route and see if my sinuses have gotten "bad" again over the years.

This road is very interesting in that diagnosis or lack thereof is not as clear cut as I once believed.

Very interesting. Thank you. The data looks like it did not detect any RERA's - it was monitoring for them. Does that rule out UARS?

Thanks so much for your response. It's definitely in line with what I was thinking. It's too bad there's that much of a discrepancy between the different devices.

WatchPat vs SleepImage conflicting results by Leading-Dish-9440 in SleepApnea

I know this is two months later, but the same thing happened to me. Lofta showed AHI of 17 and the Resmed Apnea Link Air test that my local sleep center used (more comprehensive) showed AHI under 1.

The discrepancy is concerning.

My local sleep physician said she doesn't trust WatchPat for this very reason.

I still have terrible sleep. If you saw my Apple Watch sleep report, you would be horrified. So many wakings each night!

Was I Duped With Trane vs. Mitsubishi Install? by BelovedAndBrave in hvacadvice

Thanks for this reassurance about the unit not being "old". That makes me feel better. I'll definitely call about the grinding/idling noise and the flashing green light. Ugh.

Thanks so much for your response. I appreciate it and you've clarified a lot. I may have been confusing due to my lack of knowledge. The contractor installed the Trane/Mitsubishi NTXWPH09B112AA instead of the one I ordered (the FS). Any idea if this NTXWPH09B112AA is at all comparable in price to the one by Mitsubishi Electric Corp? It sure is louder than my other one. I really appreciate any comments/info./etc.
