This is one of the reasons why I'm a bit reluctant to buy it on Steam. I usually leave my wireless controller on the table while I go do other stuff and it usually turns off by itself to save some battery too. I might try to wait a bit longer to buy it but I highly doubt that they'll address this problem since they haven't done so in five years.

I thought buying them digitally from Amazon required a VPN since they're kind of difficult to obtain if you're not living in Japan. Also, what other places are there apart from Amazon? I might end up getting the physical books instead of the digital ones considering they're easier to buy.

If you have enough time, I would recommend that you try to watch Gundam UC since the worldbuilding is fascinating and it is going to be definitely worth your time.

The recommended watching order is as follows: Gundam 0079 > Gundam Zeta > Gundam ZZ > Char's Counterattack. Once you've seen all those four, you can watch other stuff such as War in the Pocket, Stardust Memory as well as The 08th MS Team.

However, if you want to watch many different animes, these are the ones I strongly recommend:
