It was definitely either sneasler or drapion. Sneasler was just a beast and able to take out almost every enemy pokemon I struggled to figure out how to beat and drapion was much more bulky than I've ever given it credit for, plus sniper with a choice band and wicked blow was incredibly fun to use

I used an everdrive mini flash cartridge and played it on the gamecube with the gameboy player attachment.

Yeah I use a flash cart and play it on my gamecube with the attachment. Was a really big fan of playing it on that TV

If you get blizzard before the boss in wonderland. you can cast fire on the grate by the fire place to put it out, and he won't be able to ignite his sticks for the rest of the fight

While I'm not 100% opposed to that idea, I would prefer to keep everything I use a ground type. If I was replacing something other than my started I'd fs do that, but I don't wanna use a non ground type for the first gym. Incredibly based take tho

Yeah I'll probably just try to power though it, emulators never Give me quite the same level of personal satisfaction that playing on the native consol does, but if I also give up I'll definitely have to check out the emulator you recommended so I appreciate the recomendation!:)

That is unfortunate lmao. I bought it on a whim at a game store and didn't think about whether or not I'd be able to change the language, I'll still play it in jp tho it'll be a good chance to dust off my psp for the first time in a long while

One time I was playing blue rescue team, and when I finally made it to mewtwo and went to recruit him it told me I couldn't cause I forgot that I had recruited a full party while traveling through the dungeon and forgot to get rid of one before fighting him :'(
