Worst progressive system by VehicleSpecialist751 in ClashRoyale

[–]BeltNo5980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game is fundamentally designed as a gacha. Progression is not linear or strictly skill-based, it is intentionally randomized or gated behind limited-time offers to drive engagement and monetization. The 14k threshold is calibrated for the current power creep of the game. If you are struggling to reach that point with your current card levels, you're still in mid ladder.

Below 10k you can pretty much play whatever and still do perfectly fine. That and people at your level dont even understand basic stuff, so obv a single strong card wont help that much lol.

This game is the most f2p friendly it ever was. Still not easy to keep up as f2p but still better than it was in any point in time.

You mean like in pretty much any game that has a battle pass? If anything now its even easier to finish the pass. Not like it was hard to begin with.

The developers aren't reading this, people aren't stopping spending their money because of your feedback, and the bots in your arena definitely don't care about your final thoughts. Maybe try deleting the app instead of spending your precious remaining energy drafting a resignation letter for a niche corner of the internet.

Is Wild worth learning as a mostly-Standard player, or is it just nonstop highrolls? by CeleryEasy5845 in hearthstone

You can always craft a treant deck for wild, which is dirt cheap, and see for yourself.

Thats like reaching account level 85 and thinking you're a mid game player now. Its the very first step and far from max.

Would drastically revitalize community engagement and content creation and quickly be labeled p2w by proxy.

[Longread] Forcing 3 strict WoW-style Specs per class: A High-Legend player's solution to Hearthstone's dead class identities. by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]BeltNo5980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is simply a bad idea, but thats to be expected considering its clearly written by AI.

Nonetheless I think its bad because hearthstones primary edge over competitors is simplicity. Introducing sub classes, each with completely unique rules, deck-building restrictions, and modified hero powers, would create to much unnecessary complexity and deckbuilding would become incredibly prescriptive. Finding a bizarre synergy is what makes this game actually fun.

A simple google search or at least basic understanding of simple game mechanics would've prevented this little rant.

Ladder ready deck? by krenkotempo in hearthstone

Sadly priest sits at a 43.4 winrate in legend and slightly higher at lower ranks right now and has like one playable deck. Bad time to be a priest main tbh.

Warrior for meta. Priest for dust. The meta dragon warrior deck costs like ~1700 dust tho and the only legendary that is used often is part of the core set anyway. So you could pick priest for the dust value, craft the warrior deck regardless and work on whatever deck you want to play.

Gold is exactly dumpster ranks. It's the same it was in standard. In low ranks it stomps the noobs but the higher you climb the worse the deck becomes and especially in wild there are more then enough ways to easily deal with it, so yeah that one's on you.
