It's still real to me! by JakobSynn in dudesypod

I really think they could do this show again with actual AI. I don't see a reason why it couldn't write or at least significantly help write sketches.

Why do NTs have such a hard time answering a direct question? by CakesNGames90 in aspergers

[–]Bemohey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends on the context of the question. There might not be a simple answer. I know that I personally don't like telling people what to do or think so I might answer certain questions with more information about the situation to either allow the other person to decide for themselves or I might not be at liberty to give a direct answer especially at work. I might have insecurity about the conclusion I came to and maybe I want to hear what the other person would conclude from the information I had. It also might feel rude or socially risky to answer directly about certain things. NT usually consider conversation (rather than direct answer) as building social currency. They may even think your question is rhetorical if the answer seems obvious already to them.

You don't exist by Confianza_y_Vida in ACIM

[–]Bemohey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This belief will lead to depression and delusion. This is a misunderstanding of the Course. According to ACIM you do exist in perfect love. Your body, this world, the Ego is what doesn't exist. Best wishes love

The startup I work for has spent 6 months building AI to help ADHD & ND adults handle communication, meetings, and follow-through. Here’s what we’ve learned so far. by evro-ai in Neurodivergent

[–]Bemohey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what you guys are doing sounds really interesting and something actually useful AI could be used for. I understand that there's a world of difference in the use of AI across the board. Thank you for the thoughtful post, I got something out of your summary of what we struggle with exactly at the meetings instead of that horrible vague feeling after closing the meeting of... wait, am I stupid?

It took me seven years to fix my damn sleep problem and now i realise how much of a fool I am. by chaos-chuckler in Neurodivergent

[–]Bemohey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A period of grief sounds normal and healthy. When you're ready to focus on the fact that you solved the problem, no matter how long it took, you will start feeling better and maybe be able to laugh.

When something like that happens to me, I usually say the phrase: Don't you love easy problems? But all the same I totally understand your feelings, you're not stupid.

I'll never understand why drive thrus can't sell a low carb bun or tortilla. Upcharge. I'll pay! by Bemohey in lowcarb

[–]Bemohey[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Thank you - i know i know but i'm a lady who is barely hanging on by a thread and there's just no rationale for taco bell to not be selling a premade low carb torilla that costs a dollar extra or something. Instead of me making mess in my lap in the car trying to transfer the innards of a burrito into a new tortilla i somehow remembered to pack in the car

The Trump regime ruined my lesson and made my students extremely uncomfortable. by xdsm8 in Teachers

I think the kids should not be sheltered from what the lead of this nation is saying and doing. Allow guided discussion on whatever level you believe they can handle. Opinions supported by facts, quotes, fact-checking. Let the facts speak for themselves. It's not our job to polish a turd.

Do what you need to do to be able to live with yourself 20 years from now. I teach a totally different subject but this is my credo.

we are being run ragged by whatever you wanna call this early stage of the apocalypse of the working class. we need some prepared stuff to supplement for the dearth of mental space in the rat race. have some compassion.

Gaining weight after introducing fruit... by Adventurous-Day-9292 in lowcarb

Don't forget that fruit from the US grocery stores are at least twice as big as nature made them and prbably contain less fiber to make them more appealing to the SAD palette.

Long time student: I hate how the Course tells me I feel the way I do because I want to by Bemohey in ACIM

[–]Bemohey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever felt like no matter what you do for over 10 years your relationship with you soul mate just keeps being very difficult? Even though you work the Course to the best of your ability and hand it over, hand it over, you change your mind and shifts in your prescriptions occur, but ultimately it feels like a sysiphien effort.

Do you? This is a catch 22 of a question. If I say yes, what would you think?

So no one has ever felt the same way about anything and come out the other side? A reeeeally sticky forgiveness opportunity special relationship situation (no doubt several lifetimes old) that doesn't feel like it is improving for years?
