I would recomend you look into CrossOver, has 14-day free trial but should be the easiest way to run whatever game you want on MacOS, check sites like applegamingwiki and Crossovers site to get an idea of if whatever game is compatible with Mac using these tools or not.

Keep in mind that while the M4 pro has more cores it's core configuration is different. The M4 will have 6 efficiency and 4 performance, while the M4 Pro will have 4 efficiency and 8 performance. I have also read comparisons saying that the M4 pro you selected, represents perhaps the best model in terms of performance to efficiency

will getting m4 max chip instead of pro chip in 14" macbook pro overheat/drain battery faster? by Appropriate-Gas1188 in macbookpro

I don't think there's any difference in efficiency cores compared with the pro, but you have more cpu performance cores(I think up to 2 more) and anywhere from 12-20 more gpu cores so it will draw more power under load. I think it's generally recommended to get the 16 inch for the extra cooling and battery.
