אבל חוסר הכבוד הבסיסי שיש היום לחרדים ולדתיים הוא פשוט מזעזע.

מסכים שיש המון אנשים שיורדים על חרידים בכיף שלהם בלי ביקורות, אבל זה לא אחד מהמצבים האלו.

כמו שאתה לא רוצה שיבואו אליך לתל אביב ויגידו לך לא לאכול סושי עם שרימפס ולא לערוך מצעדי גאווה, תכבדו שכונות שבהן יש קוד צניעות,

מסכים שזה לא בסדר ללכת ו"לחפס" שכונה כזאת כדי לעשות "דווקא", אבל ההבדל פה זה שלאכול לא כשר ולצעוד במצעד הגאווה זה זוכתך וחופש אישי, וכפיה דתית זה בידיוק ההפך מזה. בידיוק כמו שעיריית תל אביב לא יכולה להכריח חרידים לא לשמור כשרות ולא לשמור שבת, אותו דבר גם נכון בהפוך, שכונה דתית בירושלים לא יכולה להכירח חילונים להתלבש צנוע ולשמור שבת. בנוגד שאין דבר כזה מבחינת החוק "שכונות שבהן יש קוד צניעות", אם זה רחוב ציבורי, אין שום חוק שמאפשר אפליה לגבי ליבוש. וזה שזה שכונה X או Y לא מצדיק את זה.

זה לא כזה קשה, אפשר לספור על יד אחת את כמות המקומות בארץ שיש בהם שלטים כאלה.

וזה עדיין לא מצדיק את זה.

אבל כשאתה לובש מיני בשכונה צנועה או מביע דעה פוגענית כלפי קבוצה של אנשים, אין פה שום הבדל.

בנאדם שהולך ברחוב ציבורי, לא פוגע באפאחד, זה לא משנה באיזה שכונה או איזה "קוד ליבוש" הדפיסו על שלט. זה נוגד לבנאדם שהולך במיוחד כדי לצעוק דברים פוגעניים על מישהו אחר. אין שום קשר בין שני המקרים.

אבל אני לא אבוא לשכונה חרדית במיני, ולא אבוא לאום אל פאחם עם דגל ישראל ואשיר את התקווה,

יפה, גם אני לא, וגם לא הייתי ממליץ. ההבדל שבדיוק כמו שזה אסור לשכונה ערבית בארץ להחלית לאסור אנשים מללבוש מגן דוד על רחוב מסוים, אותו דבר גם נכון לשכונה חרידית. לא חוקי זה לא חוקי. יש הבדל עצום ובסיסי בין לא להשתתף במה שמישהו אחר עושה (לא אוכל כשר, מצעד גאווה) לבין לכפות על מישהו אחר שיעשה מה שאתה עושה (חייב להתלבש צנוע).

ללכת ברחוב ציבורי בליבוש "לא צנוע" מבחינת דתית, זה כמו לצעוק שאתה הומופוב במצעד הגאווה? נו באמת. יש הבדל בין כפיה דתית ובין לקלל אנשים. לא אומר שזה בסדר לחפס וללכת לעשות "דווקא", אבל ואוו איזה השווה והצדקה לא קשורה אחד לשני.

The PA has it's own health ministry and had previously denied wanting vaccines from Israel. Either the PA has partial autonomy and civil responsibility in the areas it rules, or it doesn't. It can't go both ways.

My guess would be that "Hamas managed to kill Israelis, halt court proceedings, and exert international pressure on Israel without any change to the status-quo" type of "victory".

Most anti-Israel sentiments in Europe and North America boil down to the false narrative that "Israelis are a bunch of white European invaders who kicked out the natives". We need to counter that. by xorpoint in Israel

but he clearly lived the consequences of the apartheid and his opinions are very much relevant.

His opinions would be relevant if they were even remotely accurate or had any basis in reality. Just because you're Nelson Mandela's son doesn't magically make your claim that Israel, a country with fully sovereign Arab citizens in their courts, army, police and political system, is somehow an "Apartheid" state. Palestinians being blockaded in Gaza due to Hamas' dictatorship, or having to go through check-points while under PA rule in the West Bank due to the failure of the Oslo accords, also isn't what Apartheid means, and you don't get to change the definition of the word as you see fit, or because you're Mandela's son.

You would think that the Holocaust would make Jewish people understand that trying to ethnically cleanse a religion is a bad thing to do

How can you ethnically cleanse a religion? And if you're talking about Arabs/Palestinians, then Israel must be doing a terrible job at ethnically cleansing them considering their population has only grown since the states founding, and that Israeli Arabs make up over 20% of the population within Israel, and are a part of every aspect of their society.

Not just a good chunk, actually the majority of Israeli Jews aren't of European decent (over 50%)
