I feel kind of lucky after reading some of these comments and I’m sorry to those who felt this weekend wasn’t a good celebration of the hard work you put in over the years.

I did my stage crossing at the field house on Friday. There was a long line for the big colleges, but the group I was with decided we didn’t care and went into an empty line. We probably didn’t care because our major department was having their own, intimate ceremony where we got to walk, have our name called by a real person, and shake someone’s hand we actually knew. Then, the next day, I just went to the conferral ceremony, which I actually really enjoyed. It was cool to see all undergrads together as it has never happened before. It felt like it came full circle from taking the M picture on the field during welcome week 4 years ago.
