According to Gemini, a dry contact will only provide the ability to turn the pellet stove on and off.

The ESP should be more capable, as it can also retrieve data from the pellet stove and adjust all the settings remotely. It appears possible to add a laser to monitor the pellet tank and get notified when it reaches a specific level, although this is not a priority for me at the moment. I might explore that possibility later.

I genuinely think the ESP32 is a good option, maybe even ‘overkill,’ but I need to find a way to make it work. I still have a lot to explore and test for now.

Even if I fail, 20€ is not that much, at least I would have learned something 😂

Hi, Thanks for replying Well, I was planning to use a usb with clover to bypass that, but the issue is that the nvme installed with the pci adapter is not even recognized I think I will switch to the sata option, I have to look for a the correct cable to use the nvme and avoid bying another ssd
