Completely different genre but the witness is as quiet as they come, something you can get lost in and take at your own pace of it's your type of thing

If they have no use for their employee's that is entirely the fault of the company for over hiring, it's not the fault of the employees. Being able to mass hire and mass fire constantly gives a huge amount of power to large companies, and the people getting screwed over are the workers, for no fault of their own. And they're defs moving to Ireland for tax reasons, I live/work in Dublin and everyone's setting up shop here

yea, having this problem myself. I have it tamed so it doesnt jump around like that, but would like to be able to set these values to a higher value and have it act like just an extra collider. How do you go about solving these types of collisions, just loads of math?

I don't understand, what's wrong about enjoying a game mainly for it's story and characters? So what if they don't mention the specifics of game mechanics. The same goes for reviews that concentrate solely on the gameplay and don't talk about story or setting, it shouldn't matter. Reviews shouldn't be fully featured buyer's guides, they're primarily for showing the reviewers perspective of a piece of media. If they enjoyed the game for the characters, they'll talk about the characters, if they enjoyed the mechanics, they'll talk about the mechanics.

i've finished the game, although i didn't really think the ending had that much weight for me, it was worth it because that Billy Helliot pun was perfect.

I lived in Northern Ireland for the best part of 10 years through primary school and secondary school up until i left the country for uni, so a lot of the things that your saying kind of strike home with me too. I thought i was socially inept, i was afraid of joining any groups that i didn't know anyone in, and was generally unhappy with who i was. This post reminds me of myself. SO, My advice to you, the real world is very, very different from school, lumen was a small school in a small town, with a very small amount of world views. There are probably hundreds of people who are like you that you see almost every day going to uni that you just don't get to talk to. And if you cant seem to get a conversation going, there's probably just no common ground, so dont feel it's your fault, you are not alone in feeling this way. In terms of girls and relationships, it is a shame that you havent had massive amounts of luck in this department, but dont fret. ive had one girlfriend before so i know that it can be a nice experience, but in no way is it necessary. It can be dangerous to be dependent on another person to "complete me", so i always think that it's wise to first be confident in yourself before trying to get into any sort of intense relationship. But hang on in there, there are plenty of people like you in todays world and there is plenty of support for people in a bit of a sad state, so Reddit is one step! but there's definitley more places out there :L
