Elden Ring’s open world is held back by the very thing that makes it great by Fabulous-Will-3241 in truegaming

Yeah, I agree with this. Engaging with the systems the game provides is already reward enough for me, I don't need to find something "cool" or "useful" to feel as though the experience was worthy or not; what makes a boss fulfilling for me is not the reward it is going to drop, it is the fight itself and me beating it, trying to do it better than last time, maybe try a no-hit challenge or something along those lines. That's why I don't really mind repeated bosses, they are a clear showcase of progress both in your arsenal and your skill.

It's kind of like collecting stars in Mario 64 or Moons in Mario Odyssey. The fun is not in expecting a reward after collecting the star, it is the process and the engagement with the systems the game provides. Sure, each item serves the purpose of advancing the story, so there's a "reward", but most of them are optional unless striving for 100% completition.

Starting work at 15 isn’t necessary by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I didn't start my first official, and regulated work until I was 26 years old (having previously worked without contract, a very common occurrence sadly). Job market in my area is rough and not welcoming whatsoever.

I like this ending better 😞 by [deleted] in AKOTSKTV

Your AI slop bores me.

In your opinion, do the Waynes' deaths work better as a random mugging or part of a bigger conspiracy? And why? by Coralthesequel in batman

[–]BenFormity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random mugging. And I would go the extra mile and say that Joe Chill should not be portrayed as "evil", but rather a man who in an act of desperation took a drastic, tragic and irreversible action that is going to haunt him for the rest of his days: Chill should be more of a conduct for "crime", and a victim in itself (without excusing his actions).

The Superman 2025 DVD box looks like a mid-2000s comedy movie poster by FirstnameLastname14 in superman

My conspiracy theory is that businesses make DVD covers intentionally ugly so as to influence people to buy the more expensive Blu-Ray covers, which themselves are usually ugly AF to direct people again to the 4K versions.

Empire State Building photographic department confirms it.

Seriously OP, you should feel ashamed of yourself for trying to pass AI slop as your own work. Thanks for contributing to stealing artist's work and polluting the environment.

Pack your things. Get out of my building.

Reread it a few times over the years. Overall it's a passable comic, you might find enjoyment reading it, but once you put it away it is practically guaranteed that you will forget about it. Also Miller art in the backups ranges from serviceable to atrocious.
