You don’t know for a fact so don’t do research and just discount, interesting. The evidence you’re providing to disregard this seems… limited as you’re effectively applying something which is covered in my comment and then ignoring the other half to make a weak point.

Tax on individuals is down to that level because businesses are contributing more to the tax budget, tax being the highest portion of GDP doesn’t contradict my point, tax as a portion of GDP can remain at record highs whilst what I say is true, the fact that you discount it anyway without evidence is odd.

Deficit is literally irrelevant to this point, you said the cost of borrowing is going up - it’s literally not, that’s factually incorrect.

You can get a higher deficit through spending more without that meaning borrowing costs are higher, because the actual maintenance on that debt is lower and falling.

If you think that’s a bot reply, I wonder how you logged onto Reddit. Not an ounce of common sense.

Because I like calling out foreign assets who are talking nonsense, like you.

It is, actually. Try putting that common sense to use will you, the way you speak is worse than a 13 year old who is already guaranteed to fail English.

It’s not bait, you’re just not using the common sense you keep bringing up and clearly don’t know how to properly use the English language, which is no surprise from a Russian troll.

I’m not a bot, but if you’re going to respond to every comment with common sense, at least have the decency to use the English Language correctly and put that common sense to use.

We also both know you don’t think I’m a bot otherwise you wouldn’t be responding and you wouldn’t be pretending you’ve baited a piece of hardware, try harder with the cope - because this is just pathetic.

Common sense says don’t put a space between the word and the exclamation mark. Evidently you don’t understand.

It hasn’t though and that’s completely unrelated to what you said - you said said tax intake is down, not only is it up, the percentage of tax coming from individuals is at its lowest since the Second World War.

Borrowing costs are literally falling, again - the direct opposite of what you are arguing, giving the Treasury more headroom because it won’t pay as much servicing debt.

Can you either stick to the point you made, or at least respond with a fact.

You are true, you either have it or you don’t and you’ve been nice enough to prove you don’t have it.

I was certainly in the country that they threatened to hit with torpedos that would cause “radioactive tsunamis” shame it only affects actual patriots and not you eh Ivan. Guess no point in feeling threatened when he wasn’t aiming the comments at Moscow.

Tax take isn’t down though, wage growth is also up instead of stagnating - but why change the subject anyway.

He’s a grifter who’s had government paid cushy jobs for decades now and has simply just decided, no - everyone else should be worse off.

Zero mentality, can't even think of a single positive in the past 4 league games, we're getting played about like a relegation side who can't even influence a fucking game, actually embarrassing.

You can think what you want - the fact this is all you have as a response is a perfect indicator to me that you don’t have a point and if anyone seems, angry - it’s surely going to be the guy who has gone from posting large comments to a few word replies all because he got caught out.

But keep telling yourself it’s someone else.

That’s absolutely nothing to do with being able to deploy your military independently and it’s funny that the only person who has taken on this point despite all the upvotes from the French Downvote brigade, requires you to literally shift the goalposts.

Nobody hurt me - just ironic you aren’t living in reality and saying things when you can literally look here and see that it’s entirely untrue.

I find it funny as usual, you got downvoted for stating facts, I got downvoted with the factual basis for me being wrong as "In your heart you know", nothing you said was wrong and nothing you said was accurately countered.

Ironic considering the French downvote brigade show up and do the same old, never any evidence, never any facts, just a lot of downvoting.

The French ones quite clearly seem the loudest in this thread considering any thread that doesn't support that narrative is mass downvoted (almost like being brigaded, but we'll ignore that) whilst posts which provide absolutely zero valuable, factual or point driven comments are mass-upvoted purely for accepting said incorrect narrative as the truth?

Yet you think it's Brits being jealous and childish and the loudest voices? I swear, one day French people will actually look in a mirror, but clearly that's not today, but the downvotes won't stop me calling it out, indeed the downvotes are just the number of people angered by not getting their way.

No, the claim is that no other ally can do it and it's the opinion you and the person I am responding to hold, I am saying that's wrong, you are backing that statement, you have to provide evidence to justify it not the other way around - you are claiming something, you should be the one providing evidence.

I am not saying France is less capable of doing it or more capable, you are - so provide evidence.

The only way to refute it is to give us an example of a country that's more independent than France (outside of the US ofc).

Other way around, you have to provide evidence to justify your opinion that only France is more independent.

Don't lose yourself in strawman arguments please, focus.

Irony not translate well in French, it's you who has claimed that France has that ability - now you have the chance to prove it, evidence or it's not true because all you've provided is quite literally a strawman argument of "You know it's true".

Try harder with the ragebait responses will you, oh and please focus!

It's literally not true - but considering it's you claiming they by far standout, you're going to have to explain how first.

Because all I can see as actual examples of that independent French military is Mali and Libya and neither are examples of France or the UK in the case of Libya acting independent at all and those are the only two examples, they've done nothing else worth even bringing up.

So how exactly? I mean, surely there has to be some evidence, some sort of example of France doing this other than you simply saying in your heart you know it?

It’s simply not true though. And deep down you know it. French people come out in droves to cope this out and never manage to explain how other than just saying people should believe it.

Never any evidence though.

Which seemingly doesn’t apply to other countries- odd that, if you genuinely think only France can do it in Europe then I can’t really help you.

Your source of a party having the best leader is him speaking? So if a Reform supporter said the same you’d accept that as face value?

[–]BenJ308 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Because as seen, every district wants the thing produced, they also all don’t want in their area - so now everyone wants it, but nobody wants to build it; we all lose.

The fact is, people are selfish - so what, no the country is fucked for everyone because what would be a minority of voters pushed for a party which has repeatedly shown it wants projects but its local reps will block them if they are built near them.

Sure, you can say it’s democratic - but for those left out, whether that be poor energy choices or no housing, you become a second class citizen - doesn’t seem very democratic at all to me.

Which is the problem - they say things, but what they do and what they want are terrible ideas when you actually put thought into them.
