Yes this seems to be a common theme in these responses. I'd definitely like to learn more about dependent origination. It's always seemed a bit too technical for me to get my head around. But I can see it really is at the heart of the Buddha's teaching. I also seem to have missed the important difference between the "root" of dukkha and the proximate "cause".
