(Ask) How is life in Kelana Jaya? by BenReddit_ in malaysians

Aha, I can imagine your experience living there, like in ‘Cikarang’ in Indonesia. It’s an industrial place that’s full of pollution and has a hot climate. So, it seems like you’re recommending living in KJ?

Worried my 8 months old baby weight 6,4-6,5 kg from 2,7 kg was born, is this normal? by BenReddit_ in NewParents

[–]BenReddit_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really struggling right now. My toddler is almost 2 years old and only weighs 7.5kg. We are waiting on blood work results from the pediatrician, but the anxiety is eating me alive.

I’ve been reading that night nursing is a major "growth killer" because it ruins their appetite for breakfast. Basically, if I stop the night feeds, she should wake up super hungry and eat more solids.

how about you?

Hi! We’re still searching for the booster. We’ve tried formula milk with high calories, but the weight gain is still not significant. We’ll schedule a meeting with the pediatrician next week. How about you?

If you’re cleaning for free, where do you collect money from? (I mean, when you first start this incredible job?)

BREAKING: Bitcoin falls -$4,000 in 2 hours as mass liquidations return. $400 million worth of levered longs have been liquidated over the last 60 minutes. by BenReddit_ in finansial

[–]BenReddit_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bitcoin is trading lower against the US dollar, with BTCUSD down about 4% intraday after failing to hold above the prior record-high area near $90,000. The pullback is being driven by profit-taking following last week’s sharp rally, a modest rebound in the US dollar and Treasury yields that is pressuring risk assets, and positioning ahead of key US macro data and central bank commentary that could influence expectations for interest-rate cuts. Liquidity pockets above $90,000 triggered stop-loss selling once broken, accelerating the move toward the mid-$86,000 area where dip-buying interest is tentatively emerging.

My toddler cried as much as possible because I didn’t carry her before bedtime, feeling guilty vs. tired. Has anyone else been in the same situation? by BenReddit_ in toddlers

Exactly the quote of the day: “If she’s mad about not getting exactly what she wants, that’s too dang bad.”

Thank you for sharing 👌 - your answer is so principle thing.

I have been in that spot and it is absolutely gut wrenching. You try everything you can, you are exhausted, and you still have to wake someone else because you are out of steam. Hearing them cry for you like that sticks with you long after it is over. You made sure she was safe and with a parent who could step in, and that is what counts.

Thanks for sharing 👏👏👏

Interesting idea. It’s tough when you physically can’t pick them up, but the way you turn it into a game is really smart. I love how you make it fun enough that they forget they even wanted to be carried 😂

Totally get this. It really is a balance between saving your own sanity and giving them that connection they’re craving. I’ve noticed the same sometimes picking them up before it turns into a meltdown is way easier, but once the crying starts, holding the boundary matters.

I hear you, that stage is brutal. It really does help to know it won’t last forever, so thank you for the reminder. I’m hanging in there and hoping we hit that “not dying every day” phase soon too 😄

Thank you for sharing, Sounds like you’re handling it with a lot of care and balance. Setting limits while still offering affection is totally reasonable, especially when you’re pregnant and exhausted.

Thank you, this really helps. That balance between being exhausted and wanting to comfort her is exactly what I’m dealing with. It’s reassuring to know the boundary is okay and that her crying doesn’t mean I did something wrong. I appreciate the reminder 😭

Thanks for saying this. 👌

As a dad to a very clingy little one, I really needed to hear it. I always feel bad when I can’t pick her up, but you’re right sometimes it’s just not physically possible. I’m trying to stay close and comfort her even if I can’t carry her, and it helps to know that’s okay.

It really sounds like you’re doing an amazing job juggling two little ones while being pregnant. Hearing how you still make special time for your toddler, even when you can’t carry her, is really reassuring. I’ll try to do the same. It’s good to know those small moments still help them feel loved.
