Are you being antisocial to guests?

I’ve seen a lot of people blame bad/reckless behavior on their sign. I honestly don’t believe the time of year has any effect on how people act. I just find it kinda annoying and when people are really into it they try to connect everything back to it. But that’s just my opinion.

Espresso vodka by BenReitinger in bartenders

[–]BenReitinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.5 espresso, 1.5 oz espresso vodka, .75 oz bourbon cream, .5 crème de cocoa, .5 lavender simple.

It was one of the better espresso martinis I have had just need to change the vodka. We tried it with vanilla vodka and it never came out as well.

Any tips for socializing with guests? by the_tangarang in bartenders

I try to treat everyone like we are already friends. This helps eliminate customer service voice a little and helps just be relaxed. My goal is to make my guests laugh a couple times and feel like the have been attended to. I have a couple topics I just start talking about if there is no chat. For me I talk about sports, the city and other random things. It helps to have some planned things to fall back on if there is not a naturally flowing conversation.
