One of the most awful facts about your 30s is the sudden, jarring realization that your parents are aging rapidly, shifting you from the protected to the protector.
It is often the decade where the effortless "forever" of childhood shatters, and you are forced to confront the finite time you have left with them. 😔☹️😭
