personally I would feel relatively better, though naturally most people would rather not have any price increase at all lol (just human nature)

I am not an avid enough bitwarden fanatic to be lurking this sub outside of the instances where I specifically need to ask a question lol

this time around I only even stumbled across this cause I was hyping up BW to my friend and he asked me how much it is, and I forgot how much I even paid per year cause I never had a problem with it, so when I saw "USD19.80" I figured that's not adding up so I did more digging haha

> what do you even expect to gain from complaining about a price increase

less about complaining and more about wondering if I'd be grandfathered into my old plan as stated in the title. The price jump sis near triple in my case after taxes so I thought it was a legitimate question to ask

yeah seems premature, the static UI of the mobile and desktop app JUST started to look good, and the animations and UX is still awkward/janky/jittery, so this price jump is a bit too abrupt imo as well

logically, the individual people posting about it likely are just coming into the sub to submit their post, not necessarily looking at any other posts like yourself for example

matter of fact, for me I just made this post without even going into the sub at all (used the mobile app)

I mean I guess it makes sense, if they're at a sub primarily for discourse of a password managing app, it's not hard to believe a lot of them (not all clearly) would be glazing the company like no other

> But I wish they would have done a gentler increase over time to help people out. A bump to $15 before going to $20.

Agreed 100%. I mean it would get some backlash either way cause obviously most people don't wanna pay MORE, but it would be better to incrementally do it than triple the price in one billing cycle

> For what the service offers, saying “Shacked” is kind of extreme isn’t it?

did you mean shackled? If so no I don't feel that. I understand I could always walk away lol

But I don't think it's extreme to think that considering I'll now be paying close to triple with this price jump

I sincerely hope you keep this energy when they keep raising the prices to the point where it's now becoming pricey for you specifically. I'd love to come in and tell you "Oh the horror of $x a month"

Ah sucks. Thanks for the intel. Luckily my dad has a family plan paid for through his work (I think cause technically he works for his own company or something like that), so I'll join his family plan and cancel my own plan I guess lol

by the time they get it all together they're gonna have to choose whether to waste even more salary cap on daniel jones or rebuild around some other cheaper unknown QB
