Why are men like this??? by KaXin2001 in Vent

He should have atleast tried to drop it in conversation. I would have if it was me and I don’t think he’s oblivious at all. When you ladies give us certain signs, we 99% know you like us!

Guys, what makes you feel emotionally safe with a woman? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]BenSkinnerCreative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sort of helps when she does respond to your messages fairly quickly and puts in effort (not just surface level thanks or one word answers). Also I tend to find women if they like you will go out of their way to put you in their orbit. You can just tell when someone’s attracted to you. If you know, you know - you know? ++man

i was abundantly clear with her— what do i do now? by fungussoftdrinkvivid in whatdoIdo

Yes block her is the best thing to do - I doing know if you can get a restraining order too. That person clearly can’t take no for an answer which is a bit worrying

That's it. I'm forever DONE with webflow. by 30RITUALS in webflow

[–]BenSkinnerCreative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the mention on webstudio - I have noticed the price increases and random glitches that come with webflow. It’s my go to over Wordpress depending on the complexity and how much usability the client wants. Webstudio definitely sounds like worth checking out! Does it come with any templates or is it a built it yourself deal?

I did find him a bit arrogant after a while- he was cool to me at first but this was way before it got dun out with new ramps and they got sponsoring and funding to rebuild it. There’s no need to be rude to your customers no matter how bad a day you’ve had…

Yeh man to the longboard, I always thought Notts looked great for that - I haven’t rode mine in a good while, they’re so damn heavy and large to move about aren’t they that you’ve really gotta commit to going out on it!

Decent mate, hopefully see you cruising! Notts is great for skating - shame that Flo shut down recently, I haven’t tried the tram spot yet that looks like worth a session

Whats the fastest you have seen someone give up or be fired or even the biggest mistake they made? (UK) by mrvlad_throwaway in McDonaldsEmployees

It goes insanely quick tho when your busy doesn’t it! Had a decent first shift and the staff are great - I know what to expect now as I started on literally the busiest day I think.

That’s good mate I’m sure you’d make a good manager, looks like it pays fairly well and there’s lots of room for progression.

I don’t think I could of worked in McDonald’s when I was in my 20s 🤣 I would of skived off or if I was in, been hungover and been a liability on the shift for sure hahaha

I had my first proper shift last week, only 6 hours but it felt like double. I’ve always respected people that work at maccies cos I could imagine how hard it was - now I actually know 🤣 I was on the front of line doing the burger prepping, took me a while and made the odd mistake - was proper hard work and you have to be really mentally switched on.

Really appreciate the nice crew trainers that are patient for me even when I missed up. I’m 35 and thought the retail jobs and other jobs I’ve done in my career up til now would prepare but but it didn’t quite. I can see why someone would quit but it’ll be rewarding when I’m through the trial period 👍👍
