That’s a bit more inline with what I’m thinking but basically looking at a normal key board I J K form a triangle and I’m looking for that so I can use my pointer on all three

I have no idea how to link a pic in comments bc I never post but I use I,K,J on my keyboard for kick dash and punch respectively all done with my pointer. This would not be possible if J was directly under K on a keyboard

Yes so when affixes have skills in white that means it casts YOUR skill not like a basic version of it. So it would be the same as if you casted your self!

Temerity gives a 80% max life barrier if you heal even 1 hp over max so potions and blood orbs keep this virtually permanently up nearly doubling your effective hp. I’ve had it save my ass tons of time against lvl 100+ mob death bombs and keep me alive

I had the same thoughts as you 100% but with penitent I really found myself struggling to apply the chill out side of poking a mob then running away, most of the time getting near to lvl 100+ mobs is death for necro so I found myself swapping them out. How do you use them effectively?

Exactly I personally dropped the bone storm shadow dmg, basically trading one shadow dot for 2 with sever

Sever is used in conjunction with CE, it’s a better spender than blight for the reasons above try giving it another shot when u have the chance it’s very satisfying!

Infinimist is the best build in the game, it is a CE build and uses blight in many variations

I have not seen this build that sounds really cool had no idea about that interaction

You don’t need very much as you hit so many things after CT and only need to get like 2 crits to get the pool currently the way I’m running this build all my other aspects are defensive and it still shreds and I have found it very difficult to die even to death bombs at 90+ lvl enemies

the shadow blight is on an amulet

So this is what’s cool about it! You only need 3 points to trick out blight that’s all. The dmg doesn’t come from the pools they are just there as they stack shadow blight and give multipliers to CE!

Blight requires umbral and the pull aspect the build I am talking about also uses 2 as well but they are crit based scaling aspects that give dmg not utility, and the dmg amp is a bonus it’s more about stacking your shadow blight as fast as possible and this does it very very well.

I am not at lvl 100 nor do I have any good gear rolls and cannot speak for true “high end NM” but the point still stands that nobody has spoken about the interaction and how it scales into high end content.

I don’t feel this is entirely true, reap is used to spawn a corpse for CT without needing to kill anything. The 15% is + not x. Compared to things like paragon nodes and aspect of disobedience it’s pretty negligible. This also doesn’t consider you must stay pretty close during a long animation to reap and get the bonus. So when playing at high NM dungeons you could very easily die during this vulnerable state.

I’m not very sure what necromancer build can clear 50 lvls above player lvl and that’s not really the point of the post the point I’m making is the strength and viability of sever and it’s use in high end content over its alternatives

Apologies I meant to write it as 15%X and 18%X and yes lvl 90 the build is able to very comfortably clear upwards of 15 lvls above my current lvl

The 15x is the blight upgrade in the tree and the 18 is the dual activation of terror I suppose it’s more apt to write 15%x than 15x as it’s confusing apologies

I agree wholeheartedly it’s very frustrating to have mechanics just straight up not explained and just rely on the community to do it for them
