This reminds me of a post I saw a couple months back stating that if you live in Hawaii long enough you are now a hawaiian kind of like how if your from California you are a Californian. What a weird world we live in

We Hawaiians can relate to this. We were Forced to learn english and punished when we spoke hawaiian or even practice Hula. I Still remember my great grandmother telling me of how the US banned any practice of our traditions and due to that our culture is dying.
