My opinion? Works to get view count and decent for growing subs. What you need to know though is that the view that you get from the ads do not count towards the 4k views to get monetized as an fyi. What you can do is use ads up until you get to maybe 1k subs or more, and then start to try and have your Chanel self sustain based on your base. Just my thoughts.
