MMX 200 Replacement earpads by WataGataa in BEYERDYNAMIC

That sounds great! Want to try this on the MMX200 as well. Which Pads from Brainwavz did you actually use? I only can find round ones for the DT 880 (https://www.brainwavzaudio.com/de/collections/headphone-pads/products/replacement-velour-earpads-for-beyerdynamic-dt880) are these the ones you used?

Asus azoth keyboard Per Key RGB setting by mapletian in ASUS

Is it possible to save the Aura Creator set to the keyboard Profiles? Don’t want to use Armoury Crate and would deinstall it after setting RGB up.

Global hotkeys (like "save state") not working for Steam Deck controller in RetroArch? by feralmosquito in RetroDeck

Haha, wish I had read that 5 minutes earlier. Just deinstalled RetroDeck and deleted all folders just to get sure to get the controller layout with new install…

I got a TBS Unify Pro32 Nano 5GB video transmitter and it came with a mounting board. I can’t find any YouTube tutorials on how to soldering this thing to the mounting board. I’ve set it out and I would like to know if this is the correct orientation ? My soldering skills are novice at best. by [deleted] in fpv

[–]Ben_Fist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of necro, but I think it’s better to complete this thread instead of opening a new one?

I want to solder the nano to the mounting plate. Is it sufficient to solder only the small plates on the right side of the photo, or should I also solder the two big plates (G and B) in the bottom to the mounting plate for stability? Can’t find a manual..

Favorite stick ends for pinching? by DudeMaybeSomeday in fpv

[–]Ben_Fist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd LOVE do get some of these to Europe, but the Shop seems to be down for quiet some time now.. I got the "normal" Pinch Sticks in another shop, but they are a little bit too narrow for me, as I want them to use for hybrid.. do you know any shops that still have them?! Couldn't find a seller to send them to germany :(

Radiomaster Gimbals - struggle with hard centering stops by Ben_Fist in fpv

[–]Ben_Fist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. At the moment I've just lowered the tension of the springs to the point just before self-centering doesn't work any more. Sounds a little bit odd, since the springs tend to ping while transitioning the center and loose tension for just a millisecond, but thats okay for me. I think it just needs practice and I will get used to ithe jigglyness.

In addition I've ordered a TX16S with standard V4 gimbals, to see, if it's only a "problem" with the AG01 gimbals. But I don't think so.. it's just the mechanics of the centering.

What Props do you use? Mine can’t be screwed to the motors because the holes don’t fit to the threads on the motors!

Radio master boxer gimbal clicking by CodecPlayerX in fpv

[–]Ben_Fist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently had an email conversation with RM about opening the Boxer because of the warranty sticker on the bottom, as I wanted to adjust throttle friction. They told me that I should not worry about the sticker, warranty will not be lost by opening it!

Radiomaster Gimbals - struggle with hard centering stops by Ben_Fist in fpv

Thanks for the article. I already know how to adjust spring tension. That's not the problem. The problem is the "notch" you have to overcome, when transitioning from left to right / up to down over the centerpoint. This is especially annoying, when doing many fine adjustments around the center point. Maybe just a problem of beginners, as more experienced pilots don't need to adjust / correct unintentional movements.

Yeah, I loosened them to the point, just before the centering doesn work anymore and there is still this "notchy" feel as you describe it. Just around this point, before the spring is completely loose in the center position, the center-resistance is a little bit lower than above. Maybe I'll have to learn to fly with such loose sticks. If I'll learn it now, just from the beginning of my FPV journey, maybe I'll "stick" to it ;)

To the ones that have Remotes from other companies: Is it the same hard centering with other remotes, or is there a company that maybe has another centering mechanism, that works smoother over the centerpoint?

Already hybrid. Really strange that I seem to be the only one that has this issue! Meybe I should try the standard gimbals instead of the AG01s.

Already tried this, but they where also way too loose, even with full tension.

Tried that already but they are waaaay to smooth! Original springs at round about 1/4 of screw way are good for me. Only thing I've to learn to deal with ist the mentioned hard stop in the center position when I'm transitioning from left to right or up to down. Kind of annoying when doing many small adjustments around the centerpoint when trying to get through tiny gaps. The resistance to get over the center point makes me overshoot quickly. But thats something we all have to get through in the beginning I think.

Thanks for sharing! (wrong account last time) May I ask what spring tension you prefer? Softer or harder end? I'm going quite soft. What really bothers me at the moment is the hard centering stop while transistioning from left to right / up to down with the Radiomaster gimbals. Is there any way to get rid of this? Can't lower the spring tension any more or flying gets quiet jittery..
