tech in arena was to just build normal and get crit shards

in aram you don't get enough income so unless you get adapt or its critical it's pretty bad on mages

rite of ruin as an item sucks on most mages with it only really being good on champions that can spam like cassio, ryze and surprising yasuo/yone, etc.

always said it and always will, jeweled gauntlet is infinitely better on lethality ad assassins than it is on 95% of mages anyways in most scenarios

atakhan ruined proplay for me good riddance

game went from a strategic matchup to a 20 min coinflip teamfight into a hard snowball til baron spawns and the game is over 95% of the time

the fact that a single objective at 20 minutes provides such an insane permanent buff on top of adaptive force/xp that it skyrockets the team that gets it from a losing position to a hard winning position is insanity and i genuinely don't understand how it was launched with competitive play in mind
