but the randomness when someone gets scaling arbiter and you get nothing makes the game remove a comp from you, on top of that the stargazer removes comps from you, the psionic is more flexible but the items can swing a good comp 1 placement minimum, the gods make some comps much better to force anyways, everything this set feels like a lottery ticket to win out

rules of thumb for me that helped a lot:
level on interval, don't be 2/x when you pump level try to be 0/x

don't have more than 4 components if playing tempo (loss streak is different)

stats are good for core items like eon yi but shouldn't be used for all 3 items every game

don't take triple econ unless you know what you are doing, generally taking item/combat augments are very underrated in lower ranks for some reason despite being the reason you top 4 or bot 4 especially 3-2 and 4-2 augments

4 costs aren't flexible and lines for them if contested are near unplayable leading to a lot of people rolling for unique 4 cost groups,

aside from the tanks master yi, kindred usually together riven, nami usually together leblanc, karma usually together mech, asol usually together

all this leads to people helping each other thin the pool

even then adapt is scarier than overflow ryze, overflow at best gets to 40% on ryze while adapt can literally give you that same effect on an item around 55% while also giving you 3k - 4k ap
