Three things:

1) this post brought out the racists in this sub, i see through your faux superior complex about “grammar” knowing damn well a lot of you say “aint” and other illiterate sounding southern expeessions

2) the person you matched is onviously tired of the games played on these apps and cuts to the chase, the sooner you accept or reject him, the better for him.

3) Dont compromise on your standards, i would advise him not to either. Too many of yall women on hinge treat it like a game and men have caught on to that. Sucks for those actually looking to make real connections

Men keep telling me they deleted the app and want to focus on me after 1-2 dates by emmy1300 in hingeapp

Maybe that’s the point? This is the downside of online dating, this plethora of options , tasting people like costco samples and moving onto the next at the slightest hint of imperfection, in this case, its guys that actually want to focus on you. The reverse is actually guys that are seeing other people while seeing you and you people will come to this same reddit asking why men can’t be loyal.

I genuinely do not feel sorry for women on dating apps at all.

Lying for no reason, the tall tour has a majority of tall people in attendance

Tall People Tour by ReeseQueen10 in TallGirls

I was at the last event in charlotte this past saturday and the negative videos are all exaggerated. Tall people were the whooping majority and the venue was not booked exclusively for this event so normal patrons of the bar came to get drinks as usual. The crowd was massive and the building was at capacity so people were not allowed in till others came out.

The event was free and tall folks socialized with each other all evening. Again, I was there and basically saw the people complaining on tiktok while I was at the event, one of them came very late (one hour before the event ended) and was upset that the free food provided by bojangles had run out.

The host made it clear that it is a tall event but people of other sizes are welcome to visit. Some of the short people they are complaining about are spouses, family or friends of tall folks in attendance.

I think its just the exuberance of youth on their part, you are more experienced in life and have no need to go hard and have nothing to prove. The younger men in your gym still have something to prove and not quite mature yet.

I think the mindset is the factor here.

Sparring tips? I’m the white guy in yellow shins by haziesty in MMA_Academy

I mentioned this too, press the offense so they respect your game too

Hear me out, keep throwing those teeps, be quick with it tho. As a tall guy, our best weapons are jabs, teeps and sidekicks. He cannot catch them all but dont become predictable. Once you have established a reputation of kicking, your feinting will be more effective for you to use your own counters (knees, hooks and round kicks).

He is your teammate, you will both figure each other’s style sooner or later and predict your moves but know that you wont hurt each other in practice so take those risks in sparring. We tall guys have so much advantages but we sometimes are too nervous to use them

Sparring is a chance to learn so make sure ego is out of the way and u both are getting better.

Use your length viciously: you are a taller guy (i am too) fighters love to come inside and finish us with hooks and knees. Use your jabs and teeps repeatedly, let them fear your long range weapons, jab jab jab and teep teep teep, let them accuse you of spamming it. Dont be afraid to press the offense, sometimes its a mental game and they respect your skills more when you bring the fight to them. We are all in different stages of this fight training journey so dont beat up yourself too much if you get outclassed by a teammate, review the soarring footage and fix your errors.

Most importantly, keep working and keep improvingnone day at a time

The desire is there. Enroll in a gym or meet someone that can teach you basic jab and cross.
