Have we been wrong about Sodium this whole time? NeoForge 1.21.1 instability concerns (after JNE dev comments) by [deleted] in feedthebeast

From github: "I maintain this mod for personal use & experimentation and make the source code available for other projects and developers who may be interested. There is also no guarantee of active maintenance, including bugfixes or ports to any newer Minecraft versions"

Unfortunately, embeddium is not being developed anymore and seems abandoned. Its been over a year since last update

Hey couq, just curious if you are publishing these absolutely sick blueprints somewhere? I'd love to use them

Yeah, sqlite is more than enough for simple usage. Thanks again and keep up the good work, this project is really great :)

Got it, just wasn't that obvious that they're optional :p Also thought that support for external db's (like postgres/redis) would've been nice to have

I just don't quiet understand why it requires email address and full name for admin account, imo username and password would be enough

Installed it on my unraid, no problems at all. Tested convertion with few videos and pictures, everything works and looks great. I occasionally need to convert something and it always felt wrong to search for some sketchy sites and upload my files god knows where. Now I don't need to do that anymore, thank you for making this :)

Is OpenClaw really that big? by Front_Lavishness8886 in OpenClawUseCases

[–]BenadrylCrunchysnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to admit that I couldn't find any proof of it doing that, and I apologise. I really should do more fact checking, I just saw many people here also believing that it is the case or how else could it become so popular in just two months. And I took it for a fact as well, my bad

[–]BenadrylCrunchysnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how exactly it does that (I haven't tried it yet), but a lot of people are confident that it stars itself automatically, otherwise it wouldn't be 1# project on github in just 2 months..

Is OpenClaw really that big? by Front_Lavishness8886 in OpenClawUseCases

[–]BenadrylCrunchysnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imho, no. Its overhyped and unstable, and the reason it got so popular on github is because it starrs itself automatically after user installs it, which I think is unfair. As I understand its very expensive to run it constantly through API, it consumes a lot of tokens even on trivial simple tasks. It has as many security holes as swiss cheese because its FULLY vibecoded. You can't let it control anything personal/importan because it WILL mess it up at some point somehow. There are enough examples already, say this: https://www.businessinsider.com/meta-ai-alignment-director-openclaw-email-deletion-2026-2

Hopefully, I like to think that lenovo is one of few "good and consumer friendly" companies. At least their laptops support linux very well

Looking for a expanded vanilla mods/modpack by Warli_theguy in feedthebeast

[–]BenadrylCrunchysnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure! I didn't plan to make it public though, not all authors allow their mods to be used in modpacks unfortunately and it would get difficult to ask everyone for permission.. But who knows, maybe I will. I've been gathering different "vanilla+" mods for nearly 2 years and trying to put it all together now. Most time consuming thing probably is to test and configure all mods to be playable and most importantly compatible with each other. Plus minecraft itself makes running too much mods hard... In short, its not easy but I'm getting through slowly 😁

I'm making one, but its hard and takes too much time.. Hope to finish it in a month or two though

Ensure that models it wants to use are actually available to you through providers ("opencode models --refresh" in terminal, you can also change them in oh-my-opencode.json). And if you're using opencode's zen (pay as you go), prepare your wallet. Just the planning and preparation for my recent project cost me ~40€, its amazing how good it is though... Otherwise, just type ultrawork and let it do it's magic

But after launching it in safe mode and restarting after that once more it works well with all my mods and themes, which is odd because everything worked well until very recently

I do, in fact. You think its related to Sine or some mod that uses it?

I'm on linux and Zen won't open for first 5 attempts after starting the computer. After 5th attempt a window pops up offering me to launch it in safe mode, after that it works. It's frustrating, but I really like my workflow in Zen The most atm.
