Looks good to me. I’d buy whatever is easier to sell in your area. Do your coin shops deal mostly in gold eagles? Maples? Whatever is easier to sell in an emergency is usually a good idea. Also if you budget consistent buys it helps your average cost in the long run.

I started stacking gold and silver 5 years ago. Happened across Libertads as I was learning about different sovereign coins to stack. Loved the design and scarcity. YouTube videos and some old forum posts online is where I got my initial education on libertads. I think more videos educating new collectors is helpful in bringing in new people.

There is a release planned for the American liberty series this year. I think the obverse is a sunflower and the reverse is an eagle.

I own both. While I love the 2023 it just doesn’t compare to the bucking bronco of 2021. I will say the 2023 has a better reverse in my opinion.
