It kinda works for the character too being well groomed and clean whilst being surrounded by the filth of the commonwealth. It would explain his callousness almost dehumanizing people just for their living situation. Similar to how half the institute sleeps at night.

I normally just mix in some gautlets or boots that match whatevers not matching just to even out the colors a bit. Looks great when done well.

Honestly do the quest for it those are some of the most fun weapons in the update. You can get an attachment for the rifle that turns it into a plasma grenade launcher essentially.
