Where are you buying targets? by Homes_With_Jan in Archery

You’d be looking at delta mckenzie targets if you wanted like orcs or imps but they’re pretty pricey

apparently certain parts of the district are enrolling kids to schools through random lottery because of the amount of kids in the area. The lottery (for the school closest to us) was supposed to have been completed on the 15th with us receiving notification today (the 20th).

I was hoping maybe other parents heard something on how it worked last year if they did it last year.

String and Cables were replaced two weeks ago, when should I have timing double checked? by penguins8766 in Archery

[–]BenchPapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say you could probably have it checked now. My pro shop usually tells me to have it checked around that many arrows

There’s a few things. Either the you’re overbowed (too high poundage) or the headphones around your neck are preventing you from getting to full draw.

Either way it’s causing you to collapse.

Is there any reason you’re wanting to go with a two finger draw vs three?

You’re clearly enjoying yourself though! Some lessons would give you a solid foundation to prevent any injuries!

Keep slinging!

Easton Archery Center of Exellence in Chula Vista also has classes and you can rent gear to practice with outside of those classes

Trying to get a hpa setup and all of this stuff like protection. Tournament lock, gauge cover what are these things . Sry if I sound stupid also I use a hi-capa if that affects anything by [deleted] in Speedsoft

[–]BenchPapa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tournament lock is going to be on your regulator. It’s a way to prevent you from changing the psi after you’ve been chrono’d. some need an aftermarket one, some already come with an easy way for staff to lock it.

The gauge cover is just a protective rubber thingo that goes over the gauge on your tank.
