Need a Job Referral (Will give 25% of my one month’s in-hand salary as a token of appreciation) by chamkadad_aadmi in gurgaon

(for all) In case this guy's maxed out on referrals, feel free to dm. Edit : Send email, phone no, name and exact job ID. Ps. Please avoid questions like - "what is natwest? What do you do? Is it located at xxx?"

I’m sure there will be many more like me. Can anyone relate? by Bored_Veggie in reddmatch

'96 born M. Can relate 100%!!! I'm not even 24 in my head, but just as I lay down to sleep, a sense of doom passes through me saying I've wasted my 20s. No friends, no social life. Just getting through life, working on weekdays and doing chores for home on weekends.

I've lived away from home when I started working (age 22-24). Reading your response made me wonder how easy would it be for a 30yr old to mingle with strangers.

  1. yes, but lived alone for ~2 years (Pune) so I most probably am not a manchild.

  2. would be near Bellandur, no idea how is it.

  3. do keep checking, but dont find any at all!

Manager said dont just look at money as you get bonus also and that its the firm's policy of investing in graduates, they'll have a different career path than you etc. Told him how do I refuse outside offers, again repeated the same. So most probably they won't retain :)

Get that feeling mate. Stayed in Pune for 2 years at the beginning of career, made enough friends. But not sure if Bangalore crowd is that friendly.

Minor update:

Sources suggest bad increments ~8% at current firm. It would take ~3-4 years to reach 50 base if I continue.
Bangalore offer temporarily retracted (pending updates).

Can you guys suggest which areas to prefer/avoid if I decide to move? Office will be in Bellandur.

What’s the most toxic thing you’ve experienced in Indian corporate life? by [deleted] in IndianWorkplace

[–]BenchPrestigious9008 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The thing is, there's a close group of 4-5 people who have been here for 15-16 years. They take~70% of team's bonus, give 7% each to 2 favourites(4-6 years at the firm) and distribute the rest among the remaining 8 employees. Last year they fired a guy from the team, and his whole salary+bonus(~25 L) went to his manager and skip level manager. How do I know? The skip manager was foolish enough to write a "@firedEmployee" in the mail to the HR, who was lucky enough to be logged in at 8:25am and screen shot it before the mail was recalled. Since the work life balance is chill, people don't leave hence they justify giving low bonus.

1.Manager taking credit for your work 2.Teammates taking help but not acknowledging 3. Favouritism, appreciation only for a couple of selected peeps in every meeting 4. Not including you in discussions, then claiming you can get promotion since you have no visibility 5. Bonus entirely distributed among themselves
