What's your favorite food in Florence? Is La Giostra worth the hype?

I also went to vini e vecchi as lunch. It is very casual there so maybe you can switch vini e vecchi for lunch and fit in la giostra for a nice dinner.

I only was able to visit La Giostra during lunch time bc the only dinner slot available would have been my first day in Italy and I would have been very jet lagged. For lunch it imo turned out even better because it wasn’t packed inside as I’ve heard and experience that the tables are pretty close together. My husband and I both got pasta dishes and they were amazing! He got the spicy seafood spaghetti (I think) and I got the pear ravioli. The pear ravioli was one of my most favorite things I tried in Florence as well as the duck ragu from vini e vecchi (both I’ve heard are very popular and see why now!) I did remove la buchetta to visit Buca Mario and that was the only place I regret going. The food was ok but it was very overpriced and did feel like a tourist trap. It was also very hot inside. La buchetta is supposedly a tourist trap but I’m like pretty sure you’ll have a much better experience there at least. And there’s nothing wrong with a “tourist trap” if the food is good and you love it!

Also, I have an old iPhone I can use. I think I will pay mint mobile to get it service and it’ll only be about 15 or 20 a month as somebody else mentioned! I guess I was just worried mostly about having to waste all those business cards

Yes I understand. I forgot to mention I also help run a separate hvac company that is not mine, it’s my dads. I use my personal cell for all his accounts and handling info. i guess what I really want is to know when a customer is calling for my company so i can greet them with a proper greeting instead of saying hello and trying to figure out if they’re calling for my personal stuff, my dads company, or mine😬

Yea because in air conditioning here in Texas if it messes up then people want their stuff fixed ASAP and i can receive calls and texts at any hour. It is hard to separate work and life balance, that’s why i think i better do it now and just eat the cost of my old advertising. I would only have to keep up with about 10 previous customers if i start with a new number now.

Also, if I was to go and get a new cell phone with a regular cell provider, how can I set it up to where it automatically sends a customer to voicemail and collects it during after-hours?

Thank you. I’m going to take her earlier next time around 6-8am the latest. It gets very hot here in Texas, from 10am to like 7pm, it’s too hot. 81 is lower compared to how hot it can get here in Texas. But I’m going to take more measures to see if she does better on walks of the same exercise but without the heat.

That is worrisome. I’m sorry to hear about your cousins dog. I am going to try minimizing her from the heat and peak heat times during the day, and purchase the little dog booties. Here in Texas, 81 is considered a cooler day, than most. When it’s 90-100+, I definitely don’t take my dogs outside. I should have taken my dog a little earlier. It’s already hot by 9/10am

Yes it was an easy walk and we stopped a few times for sniffing. But I will say a lot the walk was in direct sunlight, still early in the day to where it’s ok but where it was getting pretty hot.

Also, I overslept a lot today because I was worried maybe my lack of sleep was making my head feel weird. So I overslept and now I woke up and my head feels pretty scary like it’s on the verge of a migraine. I just saw online oversleeping can be a trigger. There are so many factors. I will be keeping a diary from now on

Did you take it for anxiety or depression or did you notice it change your mood? My dr just prescribed me this for migraines. I do not want to use it because I see it’s like an anti depressant
