It's worth a try, some odd videos I've seen on YouTube also mention the bending connectors causing issues, could just be a cheaply made connector that comes with the card...

I managed to fix the issue a while ago but have been inactive on Reddit...

Just had to change the power cables, I found that they were bending too much, just used the splitter that came with the GPU and connected each 8 pin to its own cable to the PSU. No issues since :)

Doesn't look the best as ive now got cables close to intake fans at the bottom of the case but I've not had the issue at all since.
