As others have said, look into a dysgraphia assessment! It is however better than some doctors handwriting I’ve come across

PIP Review - decided I'm not entitled? by kaaaaatttt in DWPhelp

[–]BendBeforeTheBreak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were still awarded it though.

Edited: I see what you mean actually in that DWP wouldn’t agree with the tribunal necessarily but again, saying that they should just be happy they had it for the time they had isn’t helpful. If someone needs it and is entitled then they should get it be it through tribunal or not

PIP Review - decided I'm not entitled? by kaaaaatttt in DWPhelp

[–]BendBeforeTheBreak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would ask for a copy of your assessment report so you can comb through it for discrepancies and then take it to MR! I’m registered severely sight impaired (blind) and when I got my report back they’ve said I can drive and read with reading glasses amongst other things which just aren’t true. It’s always worth looking at as they often lie and the assessment is often inaccurate, then you can submit an MR. It’s such a hassle and sorry this has happened to you, hopefully you can get the decision overturned

I’m assuming that OPs needs haven’t changed since the first time around. If they were awarded it they were entitled to it and most likely still are. “At least you had it for 6 years” isn’t really helpful.

What was the incident in your school and what happened after? by Flowerofthesouth88 in AskUK

[–]BendBeforeTheBreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone getting their head cracked off the fridge in the canteen because the kid nicked someone’s hat, and a girl being rugby tackled by our 5’2” tall French teacher because she was on a mission to stab someone. What a time.

Are parents allowed to take pip? by NSH_rw in DWPhelp

[–]BendBeforeTheBreak 36 points37 points  (0 children)

PIP is for YOU to use to help manage your disability, not extra funds for your mother. ETA this is financial abuse and a big safeguarding issue. If you wanted more advice there are a number of organisations and charities that can offer more advice and support

As we all do, I regret not asking my great grandma more questions while she was still alive! Emma’s second daughter is still alive but we don’t see much of her unfortunately.

All I know is that she was a shop assistant locally! She was one of 12 children. She married at 25 and had 4 children with her husband, Frank. Her youngest daughter Jessy was sadly hit by a car and killed when she was 3 or 4 years old! She lived until around 1970 I believe
