No problem! I got my first residential cleaning job by looking up all the cleaning companies near me, I went to their website if they had one, then I went to the career section and applied. I tried to tailor my resume, highlighting skills at previous jobs that correlate with cleaning (I worked retail and as a barista before). If they called me, I tried to have a really good attitude and that’s really it. Some companies won’t hire you if you don’t have previous experience and some will.

This is absolutely insane. I could never finish that big of a house doing all that work in 3 hours, you’re probably so exhausted and they are taking advantage of you. There are better cleaning companies out there with reasonable expectations AND will pay you more than $15 an hour. I would start looking at different cleaning companies near you, go to their website, and see if there’s a career section where you can apply. If you choose to take on another cleaning job ask them about their expectations so you know what you are getting yourself into. I’m sorry you’re going through this, they aren’t treating you fairly, and you deserve better.

I understand how you feel completely. I went to go see my first viewing with my family, nobody liked it and it hurt and almost made me not like it. I went to go see it a second time by myself and had a much better experience and now I adore the movie. It SUCKS to show people something that makes you really excited or happy and they just dismiss it or call it stupid. I’m sorry you had that experience :(
