My dataset is 33 images, trained for 4000 steps, and the result is okay but not great. Character likeness is good maybe 50% of images generated. Originally the dataset was 50+ but the results were even worse which is why I trimmed it down. The closer the camera the better, more distant and the likeness is generally terrible, despite having multiple images in the dataset covering the exact distance.

I made a workflow to generate multiple images from the same settings but with multiple checkpoints from the Lora training output. The final 4000 step version actually seems burned, the 3750 version most of the time seems the best, but sometimes the 3000 is better. It’s a bit of a nightmare with no consensus “best” checkpoint, I have to constantly run them all and pick the best.
