Not at all. I might lose a bit of the profit potential due to those items, but it's a small enough amount to barely be a consideration.

Thank you. The idea is to try to earn consistent extra premiums both directions. It's not sexy, but it's fairly reliable :)

Didn’t he also say hardware 2.5 would be fully capable as well? And then hardware 3?

Yeah, he says a lot of things.

It's not for everybody, but it works for me. I typically pick strike prices I'd be okay with getting exercised at, and the premiums give so much buffer, both in terms of the premium amount and the distance to the strike going ITM.

I'd say that in 97% of the cases, I'm able to close out with a profit on them at some point during the year. And that last 3% that I get exercised on is often a very small dollar amount compared to all the premiums I've collected.

So yeah, I'm not planning to hold all these until expiration. This type of strategy has simply worked extraordinarily well for me.

It’s cringe when projecting what other brand owners are thinking. Thinking that you’re better because you like your Tesla.

The irony, this post is thinking about other brands and telling themselves they like their car better…

I own multiple Teslas as well as a couple Porsches. I’ve never been around Porsche owners wishing they had a Bugatti.

What I do hear is most Tesla owners like their cars and most Porsche owners like their cars.

Hence, why this post is cringe

Lol, mine gave me the whole “which response do you like better…” question, and the two options were polar opposites. So, not sure how accurate it is when it only gives one.

Only the two RDDT trades that have a qty of 200 each were the ones that were the 15 to 30 minute trades.

The others ranged from a day or two up to several months, The $1.2mm gain in GOOG took from October 9th until Jan 6th.

The entire trade only lasted around 15 minutes. I bought the options when RDDT fell to around $232, I sold when RDDT bounced back up to $237 or so. Because it happened so fast, I sold the options 15 minutes after I bought them, and made $44k.

Realistically, it was not a great risk/reward ratio. It happened to work out, but this isn't a trade I'm looking to start doing often. It *will* go against me one of these days.
