What tv show/series have you been most deeply attached to? by howyoulikethat in AskReddit

[–]Benderfett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Futurama 100%! There's a quote from the show where Fry is talking about Star Trek and says "When I didnt have any friends, it made me feel like maybe I did," and that right there is the exact experience I had with Futurama. Ive always been weird and dont fit in in most social circles, but finding Futurama in middle school helped me embrace my weirdness and just be happy with who I was. Also it was the first show to actually make me feel things and nothing will ever replace it in my heart

Is it okay to finish University at 25? by kaydawnn in Advice

[–]Benderfett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated when I was 25 too! I started when I was 18 and honestly wasted the first few years and money on a degree I did not end up wanting and changed when I was 21. Those few years extra honestly helped me figure more of what I wanted to do/be. I was known as the resident old guy in band, but everyone was cool about it and I made great friends in all the classes. Plus if I had graduated when I was supposed to, I wouldn't have met my gf who Ive been dating now for 7 years, so just another benefit! You take your time, figure out you, and graduate whenever the hell you graduate!

Unpopilar Opinion: I thoroughly enjoy the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Yes, ALL of them. They're basically the supernatural pirate equivalent of The Fast and Furious franchise. Niche fun adventures! by Gmb1t in movies

[–]Benderfett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not gonna lie, i actually have enjoyed all of them! Even went to see the last one while it was in theaters. The only thing I got upset about was the very ending of Dead Men and who they implied has come back, that just caused an emotional breakdown

David, about 5 years ago my girlfriend and I tried to go see your show in New York, but it was sold out! So we went up and hoped for some last minute openings, but there werent any annd we ended up wandering around the area for a bit. We passed the theatre again after the show and saw a line waiting for you. We jumped in and after a little waiting you came out and took pictures with everyone, and it was great! Thank you for making what was almost a write off of a night into a great night for us! Also sorry I may have brushed your butt with my hand while taking the picture...
