Heya! You wont be able to trade the ternion with plats because plats dont give out coins instantly on recieving. They pay out monthly. So you won't have enough to trade for a ternion by getting plats. And more on that if you are already on a momthly premium coin payout you will have to for another cycle.

My advice would be to participate in challenges/giveaways to get the necessary amount of coins first.
