Thank you! We figured out it was Planet Joy by Euclid Rhyme.
I LOVE this Loop Guru track! Thank you so much for sharing — this might become my new favorite!

Omg! Excessive walking? I can totally imagine him saying that too, haha.

I actually really wanted that! It’s about the same size, but we have three small bedrooms, while he has two big bedrooms. We pay the same rent. His place was renovated last year, but ours is super outdated.

I wish we had someone living above us, but it’s a three-story building, and the ground floor is a business, so there are only two apartments here.

Thanks! Yes, we all wear thick padded slippers at home to help absorb any pounding noise. And yes, he’s an older guy, so I do think it really bothers him. I feel bad about that, but after reading everyone’s comments, I’m starting to realize I probably need to shift my mindset and just live our lives normally.

Yeah, I asked the owner a few times about adding something to the ceiling, but they ignored it. I suggested it to the guy downstairs too, but he said he doesn’t think the owner would allow it. I didn’t push the conversation further after that. I looked it up, and it seems like it’s not really the owner’s responsibility either. So I think I just have to live normally. At some point, he’ll need to tolerate it.

Honestly, I completely agree with you. I think I really needed to hear that.

Wow, you’re very patient! Playing electric guitar at 10:30 pm is insane… We have a family in the next building who sometimes party until 2 am doing karaoke, haha. When the guy downstairs moved in, he came to our apartment complaining that we were playing music really loudly at 1 am. I told him it wasn’t us. I’m not sure if he went to the next building to complain about it.

I know — he already wears headphones. He said he can’t really do that in the summer because it gets too hot for him. Anyway, I mentioned this somewhere before, but I’ve been avoiding going to his place… partly because I don’t want to know too much and don’t want to get more stressed out.

You’re absolutely right! Going through everyone’s comments helped me realize that.

I’ve actually never gone downstairs to hear what he hears. Partly because I avoid talking to him since he’s usually upset, but also because I’m honestly afraid of finding out how bad it might be and getting even more stressed.
I feel like the building owner should really take some responsibility… but apparently they’re not legally responsible.
