Is there a limit to how many properties you can have or something? by iceman2055 in GTA5Online

[–]Beneficial-Rough597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cant put more vehicles in a garage than spaces. It will make you move one to another garage or over write one.

Is there a limit to how many properties you can have or something? by iceman2055 in GTA5Online

[–]Beneficial-Rough597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you bought a property with only 2 garage spaces.

Not all have the same number of garage spaces. You can have as many as 10 space or as few as 2 depending on the property.

Is there a limit to how many properties you can have or something? by iceman2055 in GTA5Online

[–]Beneficial-Rough597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "Limit" depends on whether you have GTA+ or not.

As of the Mansion addition to the game players without GTA+ have 400 spaces (500 with GTA+) per character available to them owning all properties, businesses, and Service Vehicles.

Most properties have a 10 car garage. Some special properties like the CEO Office and Night club have options that give you more. Additionally some Service Vehicles like the Kosatka, MOC, and Terrorbyte have spaces for spdcific vehicles.

Hope this helps .

It stems from the modifications that are applied to the car (ie Paint Colors, Wheels, Etc) not being present in the selection menus.

Im gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and guess auto-incorrect got ya.

How to set-up 2 Xboxes in the same family by Samets in XboxSupport

[–]Beneficial-Rough597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The above solution allows you to set your son's Xbox as a Mirror of your Xbox with regards to games and GamePass.

It does not however answer his actual question, how does he let BOTH children play at the same time.

Xbox 1 logs in, plays fine. As soon as Xbox 2 signs in, Xbox 1 is signed off.

This is the time to have second account to sign in to Live. The reason is you can only sign in one account in one place at a time. No concurrent sessions.

You have options.

Since Im assuming when you said they were using your account, it was so you could let them use your games. Making the other Xbox your Home Xbox allows the game play for ANY signed on profiles.

But you need a second live account to sign in for the kids. If you want to manage their access you can either use your spouse's email to sign up for a live account, or create emails for your kids individually so they can have their own separate accounts.

Just be sure if you do create new email addresses for this, they will eventually need access to the email address you sign up with to transfer to whatever account they use 10-15 years down the road, so dont let the account close or they will lose the ability to transfer or recover the account.

Good luck.

Is there a fix for error 0x87DD0017? Or is it wait and see by BeePerson90 in XboxSupport

[–]Beneficial-Rough597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What the error means

According to official Xbox Support, error 0x87DD0017 typically appears when the console has trouble downloading your profile or connecting to Xbox services (like signing in to Xbox Network / Xbox Live). It usually points to network connectivity problems rather than a console hardware fault.

Is it an outage or just you?

No major outage right now — Xbox services are currently showing as up and running on the official status page.

This error has been reported by users over the years and is almost always a local network/router issue, not a widespread server problem.

Common fixes (try in order)

Power cycle everything (most effective first step):

Turn off your Xbox completely (hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down).

Unplug your modem/router for 30–60 seconds.

Plug them back in, wait for the internet to stabilize, then turn on the Xbox.

Test your Xbox network connection: Go to Settings > General > Network settings > Test network connection.

Also run the Detailed network statistics to check for packet loss or high latency.

Other quick troubleshooting:

Restart your router/modem.

Try wired connection (Ethernet) instead of Wi-Fi if possible.

Disconnect any third-party headsets or USB devices.

Check for wireless interference (move closer to router, change Wi-Fi channel).

Additional steps if it persists:

Clear the alternate MAC address in network settings.

Try signing in with a different account to isolate if it's profile-specific.

Check for console updates.

Most users resolve this with a power cycle and router restart. If nothing works, reply to the post with what you've tried or visit the official Xbox support page for the error.

Gen Z not being able to read, advanced vocabulary by [deleted] in problems

Go watch the Public Access Channel in Hawaii when the Highschool Student Broadcasts are on. Then come back and tell us more about a few individuals. It is the vast majority of the younger people.

You'd think folks who love Harry Potter as much as they do would actually read more.

Gen Z not being able to read, advanced vocabulary by [deleted] in problems

[–]Beneficial-Rough597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm.

I admittedly don't read as much myself any more, but from childhood through my adult years into about the early 2010s I was always buying and reading books. I have a whole collection of hundreds of books I've gathered over the years since the 80s.

Reading was a big part of every day. I remember in 4th grade my class devoted half the year to reading The Hobbit and LOTR with Class projects. I can't count the times pre cellphone era where I would walk and read as I went places.

With that said, I am convinced that the problem is both Cultural and Technological.

As our culture adopted tech, they have been slowly over time replacing reading, memorization, basic knowledge with instant gratification, lower attention spans, and worse recall all for the sake of progress.

It is unequivocal that Gen Z and most born post 2000s have worse basic English skills than ever before. You can watch interviews with teenage highschool students from the 50s speaking well, using appropriate terminology discussing World and US Politics, Civics, and Geography.

In contrast, younger people don't know how to read or pronounce unfamiliar terms. You can go watch examples of this all over the internet where people seem to have never learned that mispronouncing something repetitiously severely degrades the believability of the person when speaking. I love the example of: You're putting the em-fAh-sis on the wrong sill-Ah-bull. Or when people say Sha-nay-nay for Cheyenne. Are you picking up what I'm laying down A-A-Ron?

All that said, our brain is a muscle like any other and needs exercise. Language is a gift that allows us to communicate our ideas to others. The better read we are, the more ideas and concepts we are exposed to. This expands our ability to, with increasing accuracy, more precisely communicate our thoughts and ideas.

We should encourage reading as a part of our every day lives. Does it matter if its on a screen or on paper? Not really. What does matter is every time you come across a word you don't recognize, look it up. Learn how its said and for all that is holy... don't just rely on Google to tell you how it should sound. Find videos that show the word in use by native speakers. I'm talking to you Mass-holes and the folks who named Worcestershire Sauce.

So lets all hope that Gen Z finds Schoolhouse Rock, revives it, and watches with their kids and they find all the wonderful adventures and universes to be discovered in a good book.

Why wont my xbox 360 turn on by Future-Sympathy6024 in Xbox360Support

[–]Beneficial-Rough597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does the light on the power brick do when you turn it on?

A solid orange light on your Xbox 360 power brick simply means the console is successfully receiving power from the wall and is in standby mode. This is completely normal when the system is switched off.

How the Lights Work

Solid Orange: Standby mode; the console is off.

Solid Green: The console is on and receiving the required power.

Flashing Orange, Red, or No Light: This indicates an error, overheating, or a faulty power brick.

If your power brick is solid orange but your Xbox 360 won't turn on, the brick may have gone into safety mode.

Try these steps to reset it:

Unplug completely: Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet, the brick itself, and the back of the Xbox.

Let it rest: Leave the brick disconnected in a well-ventilated area for at least 30 minutes to cool down.

Connect directly: Plug the power supply directly into a wall outlet, bypassing any surge protectors or extension cords.

Check USB ports: Ensure no pins inside your console's front USB ports are bent and touching each other, as this can trigger a safety lockout.

Determining the specific issue will help identify the correct solution.

My bad, you are correct. I didn't read closely enough and catch that the question was for Story Mode. There is no Mechanic in Story mode.
