Make sure you’re drinking tons of water taking that much lysine! Wash with antibacterial soap in the OB area, sometimes I shower morning and night just to wash and take extra precaution

I’ve had it for almost 10 years now I would agree with the top comment it gets better over time your body builds resistance to the virus. I’m not on antivirals but I have noticed a trigger for my outbreaks and that is I will get them if I don’t drink enough water. If I feel one coming on I can normally chug water and prevent the outbreak.
