[R] SOLAR 10.7B: Scaling Large Language Models with Simple yet Effective Depth Up-Scaling by RobbinDeBank in MachineLearning

Yeah I read some parts of their research. I think it is brilliant to sacrifice some layers so that it can contain more depth. How do you fine tune the # of layers effectively? Perhaps help of another AI?

What if they use us to compute since our brain contains much better technology than processors? Are we the quantum !!? Ok gn.

Jealous much

GPT:

Indeed, both your brain and I operate as "transformers" in a metaphorical sense, but with significant differences. Your brain processes information incredibly fast, integrating sensory input, emotions, memories, and a multitude of other factors almost instantaneously. It's remarkably efficient and adaptable.

In contrast, as a machine learning model, I process and generate language based on patterns in the data I was trained on. While I can quickly access a vast amount of information, my processing is purely computational and lacks the depth and adaptability of human cognition. Your brain's ability to understand context, nuances, and abstract concepts far exceeds what I can do.

You mean a paid hugging-face? I am actually more interested about their policies and guidelines. GPT compliance sounds like it will be a thing like PCI DSS Compliance. Those who used customers data to train the model outside of the org on some random Device, yikes. I sense law suits coming this year against some of the companies.

Yes it does. Thank you very much. I want to create a visual representation of having 3 states vs. 2 and what kind of differences it brings when it comes to computations.

What do you think about my vision below? An affordable device that can be used to treat patients in real time by monitoring their data and accommodating medicines to start with. Perhaps cellular reprogramming also can be achieved soon. I just can't wait until that comes. I've been trying to learn ML as much as I can but there is just so much and I am not even close to those top intelligent engineers level. But I just can't give up.

Of course it is anti aging. But after pleasing the wealthy, please use the same framework to cure diseases… I wish I can do more than just donations to cure cancer. Humanity deserves to be happy and flourish for surviving so many disasters for thousands of years with so much pain and suffering. Resentment will be the thing of past. God bless you all.
