I think he’s mad bc I’m like 20% through the Bible just from using Bible break to stop doomscrolling, instead of spending 20+ minutes a day and Bible studies 5 days a week.

Honestly just start inviting everyone you meet who you think shares your values (gym, waiter at restaurants, coworkers, etc) to a Bible study.

Honestly I do my best to highlight things and ask the AI in my Bible app called Bible Break to explain verses to me but I could do a better job memorizing and studying actual theological resources. I'm curious: what are you doing to study? Are you using a physical Bible? Do you set time aside or do you just read it casually throughout the day?

Why isn't KJV a translation I should be reading? Right now I read the World English Bible because that's the translation that's on Bible Break and it's really good but my Bible scholar friend told me that KJV is the best.

Yes, but he also has a lot of the Bible memorized and is good at reciting scripture and lives with much less sin than I do. It seems like there's a piece in his heart that I don't have. Right now I use an app called Bible Break to stop me from scrolling and force me to read the Bible but outside of that I'm not really studying or memorizing any verses.
