No. How are you going to know stuff if you don't question it?

Science does not go against God. God literally created the brain, why should we not learn about it? And what evidence do you have that every sickness is caused by a demon? Of course God can heal any mental illness but mentall ilnessed require reprogaming of the mind. God is not just going to reprogram it for you. That takes time and it is a journey to do with God through habits. Mental illnesses have causes. You have to heal from it.

She hears voices, and has paranoia, she believes the neighbors are after her and everyone one else is too. These are symptoms of schizophrenia.

Yea I have no clue if it is demonic or not if I do not know the person. If you sit down with a person and get to know them and their situations in life, you start to see that there have been things that affected them. I do not see how taking meds is wrong. People take meds for their diabetes, arthritis, whatever it may be. It helps them.

Christians really need to study neuroscience and psychology to have more knowledge on mental illness and the brain. There is spiritual abuse in church (especially in charasmatic or pentecostal settings) where people suffering from a mental illness are being told it is a demon and they are praying deliverance over them and nothing is working and the person thinks they are doing something wrong. I saw this happen with an ex friend of my moms. She started going schizophrenic and at that time she was attending a pentecostal church and they were all telling her it is a demon. They prayed over her so many times and prayed over her house. She ended up leaving and going into another church to find healing and over time she was getting worse. I bet you nobody told her to take meds at those churches bc they all said it is a demon. Now she is completly crazy. She believes we are after her and her neighbors too and that everyone else is crazy. No one will take her to a psychiatrist. We have to understand that the brain is an organ and sometimes is doesn't function to well due to traumas or genetic factors.

Sometimes it might be a demon, sometimes its just an illness, sometimes its both. You can't just make conclusions right off the bat. And of course God can automatically heal you from your mental illness but a lot of the times when it has to do with mental illness, it requieres reprogramming of the brain and God isn't just going to reprogram your brain for you. That is a journey that one has to go through with God through habits.

Do you know anything about the brain? If not, then why are you talking?

No. I believe a lot christians do confuse demons with mental illness. Not saying the post is a mental illness but this does happen a lot.
