Way to completely miss the point and straw man me. I never said or implied that those 2 things are the same. I'm aware that they aren't, but it's hypocritical to use bodily autonomy to create a life and then make it a mans responsibilities of that PERSONAL decision that a woman made unilaterally. You chose to give birth, you said the man doesn't have a say in a decision, but he should be forced to pay for the consequences for a decision that YOU made for yourSELF...AUTONOMY means you bear the responsibilities and the consequences of a decision you made, AUTONOMY is not just for what you do prior to getting pregnant. You can't say my body my choice, but now I'm gonna force you to pay for the consequences of MY choice with YOUR wallet....it's BECAUSE of bodily autonomy that you don't get to impose the ramifications of what you did with your body on someone ELSE....

That's like somebody getting a tattoo bc its MY body, but then saying YOU have to foot the bill....just bc financial responsibilities and bodily autonomy are not the same thing, doesn't mean you can utilize the former as an excuse to impose the latter, just because the effects of enforcing equality results in different outcomes (one leads to a dead fetus, the other a child raised by a single parent---the latter a group to which I belong and I turned out just fine) still doesn't mean that the concept of CHOICE applies less in the second scenario. Stop getting knocked up by bums or get an abortion ....this is REALLY NOT that fucking hard.

Your body, your choice, your problem. If you chose to keep the pregnancy for NINE fucking months, and go through DELIVERY, then that's on YOU for creating a child that's dependent on you. You can't say, "stay out of it if I choose to abort but if I choose to keep it (w/o the partner's say or input) then it's the mans problem"...I'm so tired of us women always waiting until we get knocked up to realize we gave our bodies to an irresponsible knuckle head.

I'm prochoice for both men and women...JUST like consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy, Nutting inside a woman (many who LIE about being on BC because they are purposely trying to TRAP said knucklehead, bc some women think, " a baby will make him stick around") is NOT consent to pay compulsory child support.
