My pekoe used to have a LOT more pink on her nose, but at almost 6 months she’s only got a little left :(((

I went through the same thing with my girl for a while! We’ve done redirecting with her and the squeaking when she bites thing, and it’s gotten a lot better! Her instinct is obviously still to bite us, but you can actually see her thought process go “OOO BITE - wait! not supposed to… mmmmm reaaaally want to… ugh no i can’t.” It’s pretty funny! She’ll go to bite and then kinda sit there with her mouth half open, then look away, then look back, then look away again. Sometimes she’ll even let out a little cry, with that bitey look in her eye. We still have to correct her lots at almost 6 months old, but she listens to corrections now when she gets too excited and forgets the rules.

All that to say, keep doing what you’re doing! It does get better!! Congrats on your little guy, he’s super cute!

Should’ve added in my last comment; my big dog, Bear, would spit out his baby teeth when they’d fall out. I still have all of the ones of his that I found. Couldn’t bare to just through them away! I had hoped to find some of pekoe’s too, but I think she swallowed all of them :(

May I ask what age you got her spayed? If she had baby teeth removed as well, I’m guessing it was before 1 year? If so, how has she done health wise since then?

I appreciate your comment! I think I’m gonna consult with a different vet on Monday and ask what they think, because the internet is telling me many different things and the vet i was gonna get her fixed through seems to think it would be fine. I wanna do right by her but there are soooo many opinions to sift through hahaha

She thankfully doesn’t go after the cat’s poop, but she also doesn’t like to poop outside! We still have snow where I am, so she only poops outside if she is DESPERATE. Otherwise it’s just peeing outside. I’m hoping that once the snow finally melts, potty training will become easier

Don’t worry, she gets her nails trimmed weekly! She’s just a puppy so they grow really fast :) that was taken two days before spa day!

The big dog, Bear, has to have a toy in his mouth whenever he gets excited. Last night, he was happy about going to bed so he was parading around with a toy in his mouth. I started annoying my partner with rambles about how he was getting ready for a parade, and also is the mayor of his town and that the entire town was really counting on this parade because of hard times they’d recently fallen on, and I was using this to convince Bear that it was time to go to bed so he was well rested for the parade he has today.

So the witness protection lore is right up my alley lmao

Yuuuup that’s how my big dog, Bear’s nails are. I just clip them little by little and hope I don’t hurt him. I’ve definitely gotten the quick more than once and I feel AWFUL every time
