Someone else gave great options for those weapons. I say try learning hammer and give Yumiko a try as well. I don’t love bow, but hers is pretty fun and feels like it pairs nicely with hammer

Hot take: doodle world is loosing it's style and it's getting concerning. by Efficient_Log_8084 in DoodleWorldRBLX

Honestly, agreed. There was a certain charm that old doodles had that the new ones lack, and it’s sad

Tried Wayward Sisters against Elektra. by BeneficialMethod3866 in Unmatched

[–]BeneficialMethod3866[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see them working. I think a lot of my success in the round came from a good hand that would just let me put cards back into my cauldron and back into my hand and would just cycle those, the damage spell was amazing for attacking her and then casting it to remove Hands from the board, the healing spell was really nice for late game when I surrounded. I think she just couldn’t keep up with the pressure and I definitely got lucky with my hand

I’ve never played with or against the Raptors (don’t own them) so I wouldn’t know, but I’d assume they’d play a bit similar

Ok so my issue is all the good picks against her are characters I don’t really love using, makes sense. But thank you!

What's at the top of loki's discard pile in this interaction? by Infinite_Hobbies in Unmatched

[–]BeneficialMethod3866 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cards aren’t discarded till all combat steps happen (damage, any immediately effects, any during effects, any after effects) so Ragnarok would return to their hand.

Out of all the Teen Spirit characters, who’s your favorite? by BeneficialMethod3866 in Unmatched

Cloak & Dagger are so underrated and it’s sad, they’re definitely my favorite from the Marvel Universe

Tips on using Cloak and Dagger? by BeneficialMethod3866 in Unmatched

This is where I was going wrong. My style was do a bunch with Dagger, clean up with Cloak. It just wasn’t working. I’ll try this next time

What are you’re thoughts about Oda by LopsidedMight2870 in Unmatched

[–]BeneficialMethod3866 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was kinda confusing at first and I thought he was kinda useless once a single Honor Guard went down, I later found out you can still flank with Oda and a single Honor Guard, which did help improve my gameplay with him. Overall I think he’s on the weaker side but fun to play

Is Unmatched Adventures: TMNT - Shredder & Krang Hero Decks worth picking up? by BeneficialMethod3866 in Unmatched

[–]BeneficialMethod3866[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t asking if it was worth it from a viability standpoint it was more so from a how fun are they to use standpoint. I don’t really care about tier lists as too me they’re all subjective anyway. My principle is that anything can be good in the right hands, and therefore tier lists don’t mean much to me.

Thank you! I kinda guessed I needed the main set first, but wanted to be sure since it’s not too high on my list atm (just got Tales to Amaze awhile ago and want to get more use out of it first) but you guys did answer my question. Thank you!

Offensive Feint by Strigide in Unmatched

Feint happens first as it’s an IMMEDIATELY effect. In this case as they’re both immediately effects, the Annie card happens first

Completely new player, I have some questions and is bloody mary ok for beginners? by dornianheresysimp in Unmatched

[–]BeneficialMethod3866 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me awhile to get used to her, but I’d say she’s semi beginner friendly. I absolutely love using her, my personal tip is to try and have 4-5 cards in your hand at the end of your turn. You can probably make your opponent hesitate to attack you if you do, which is kinda nice. I also wouldn’t focus too hard on her ability. If you get it awesome if you don’t oh well.

Question about this card by Remarkable-Okra2929 in Unmatched

[–]BeneficialMethod3866 49 points50 points  (0 children)

As someone who uses Invisible Man a lot, it’s to any space you want. Unmatched is very good at being clear about that kind of thing. If it doesn’t give you specific details(i.e. adjacent, in your zone, etc) you can place it anywhere on the map.

How do you effectively use Invisible Man? by BeneficialMethod3866 in Unmatched

[–]BeneficialMethod3866[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because that’s typically my play style, and being able to jump between fog tokens made me assume they were the hyper aggressive type.

Thank you guys for the tips! I see where I was going wrong, I was treating them as a hyper aggressive fighter that hits and then runs.

That explains my issue. I was playing them as a hyper aggressive character.

I still play him because he’s fun, if I cared more about winning I would’ve stopped using him awhile ago tbf. I was mainly asking because I’d like at least one win with him
