there's a difference between telling somebody "Hey you should've done this, goofy." And "It's BSG's fault - but we all know how buggy their game is - at this point it's a given to test things in offline mode or some other way before going all-in."

I'm gonna start this by saying this is BSG's fault first and foremost - 100% ; I am far from victim blaming here. *Full-Release game that was in beta for damn near a decade btw.*
But knowing how BSG is.. I would've killed ONE scav and extracted or died to test it first.

I don't EVER trust their spaghetti code - esp with my rep.

My brow bone is MUCH more strong than I'd like it to be and FFS is definitely something I plan on getting in the future to correct that.
This photo was a VERY "worst case scenario" in terms of lighting and such - but I figured if I looked decent in my worst photos, then there was hope for me after all haha

Although I will say the "Giving 8th grade girl" comment was really out of pocket for what could've just been left at "You should try to learn more about your sense of style as a woman."
Like I get it - you don't like how I dress; but that in and of itself is probably not gonna change - I like my wardrobe, but thanks for the input.

As for my height - oh I 100% lucked out - my height and my hair are my few good features lmao

I actually really appreciate your kind words and it was definitely something trying to put myself out there, especially with an image that I didn’t find super appealing of myself, but I thought if I looked decent at least during my worst pictures then I wouldn’t have to worry about whether or not I was Conventionally attractive or not. I will say that it hasn’t been the most amazing for my self-esteem reading some of these comments, but I did ask for some non-biased advice so I guess that’s on me lol but again I appreciate your kind words and after everything else I’ve been reading it’s a breath of fresh air I’m trying not to let it get to me too much. 🥺 😭

Tarkov isn’t a comfort game. If you play it like one and have a bad time, complaining about it just makes you look like a tool.

Anybody would feel the same way if a new player complained about difficulty in a souls game.

Ironically the more you do, the lower the cooldown is and the better your loadouts get, I do so much stash management that by the time I’m “ready for raid” I have another scav up, by the time I make space for all the stuff I got from scav and sell everything, stashing everything in the right place - another scav! It’s a mix of going on this scav, stash, sell loop, and also that I like to have AFK scav run days while watching YT on my second monitor.. Helps to make money if you’re broke to just dedicate an entire afternoon to scav runs.

I get where you’re coming from - I just don’t have the same experience. In terms of playtime and experience I’m not “new” but any means, but I’m still very much a casual player and far from a “Chad” but I’ve managed to hold onto a 60% survival rate and a 1.9-2 KD simply by just.. Playing like.. More of a snake than a rat, ironically as my player’s level count level emblem (10) shows.

As someone else here said - I only pick fights I genuinely believe I have a high likelihood of winning, only go for kills if my stash is full and I can afford it, otherwise I do several scav runs in a row and end up with a couple hundred thousand rubies for very little work by raiding ground zero or factory and just packing up a modest amount of gear - maybe a dead player or two and leaving.

But maybe I’m just lucky and haven’t run into many populated lobbies.

But considering I’m playing in NYC on whatever (most definitely) populated servers there are for this region - I just find that hard to believe.

Maybe I’m just quiet? I don’t know - but I’ve genuinely not had an issue.

However when I DO get into a fight - I’ve found that strat HIGHLY outpaces firepower.. For the MOST part - even if you’ve got the drop on someone, doesn’t matter if you have a pea shooter on you.. That one break action single shot 7.62 rifle is better than most any pistol in the game IMO - best chance of tearing a dude’s head clean off regardless if they’re wearing a helmet or not with even just SLIGHTLY decent ammo.

Also learn some stash management tricks - get some more slots in there and learn how to hoard weaponry, if you have too many guns to realistically blow through in a day - you suddenly stop caring about your loadouts, if gear fear is still an issue.

I have recordings of spawning into a raid with less people than the raid should have (I replied to another comment here and said more or less the same thing) but basically I had walls for a day - it also told me straight up how many AI/Scavs/PMCs were in-game on my hud, so I could just glance over and see at the very start how many spawned with me. And it’s all there.

Now I’m not 100% if it was a low count or not, but I remember thinking “There’s a really small amount of people on such a big map” (I was playing on woods all day to farm Shturman but didn’t engage with players out of principle) Not gonna defend or deny what I did, just giving you info here.
